.17 PMC ammo

I know that ome time ago when MachII ammo was scarse and hard to find there was talk of being able to use .17 PMC in the .17 MachII sportser I found and bought a 500 brick of the PMC. My ?? is did anyone else do this and have you been shooting it if so what knowledge do you have to share. Thanks Kurt
