We have family who had Covid. The antibodies last 9 months to a year. Kind of like the flu. Not 3 months. However, after two of my children, 2 of my grandchildren, a BLI, a SIL, and a nephew got covid, we got the shots. We checked two weeks after we got the shots and we had antibodies. We might still get the variant, but if will be lesser symptoms.
We also know from my BIL getting it, that hydroxicloriquine and zinc taken together kills the virus if taken early. This is because he didn't have antibodies afterwards. I think Ivermectin does the same.
I think the government knows about the meds, but they want herd immunity to stop the virus from spreading, thus the shots. The Delta variant spreads much easier and faster, but symptoms are milder than regular Covid. Not enough information on the Lamda variant coming out of South America.
Everyone we know who have had the Covid says the symptoms are worse than the flu. Again, if you are older with heart trouble, diabetes, lung problems, you probably need the shots.
From everything I have read, including most conservative news information, the most people getting the Delta variant are young people who are NOT vaccinated. Yes, some vaccinated people are getting it including a 78 year old mayor in the town next to me. However, he has mild symptoms. From what I have found out at my local hospital and other authorities, it is mostly unvaccinated people getting the virus and end up going to the hospital and younger people who have not been vaccinated.
Far right and far left conspiracy theories are not true about Covid. For instance, only those who are sick really need to wear a mask to keep from spreading it. A healthy person wearing a mask coming in contact with a sick person not wearing a mask, can still get the virus. We quit wearing a mask after getting the shots.
Another weird fact. I have a SIL who recently tested positive for Covid, has had the shots, but has absolutely no symptoms. She is a carrier and spreader, thus should wear a mask. So many people are spreaders who don't get the symptoms. Why? Who knows, maybe high amounts of vitamin D or zinc in their system.
Israel did an extensive study on vitamin D. The ones who got covid had low doses of vitamin D in their system, which were mostly Muslim women who live in Israel (about 1 million Muslims live in Israel and are Israeli citizens). Muslim women are covered up and don't get enough sunshine to produce vitamin D. Vitamin D is part of the resistance to infection. So take some D3 every day. Zinc helps but don't take too much. Zinc bonds with the virus's DNA when it replicates, thus the virus dies. Hydroxi and Ivermectin open your cells up to allow zinc in, then when the virus attacks your cell it bonds with the zinc and dies.
Another problem, if enough people got the vaccine fast enough, the virus would have went away because of herd immunity. However India is giving everyone Ivermectin instead of the vaccine because it is far cheaper. So they are not getting herd immunity and the virus can continue to spread. Same with Brazil giving out hydroxi, not just for Covid but for malaria. So, mutated forms will come from countries like this who can't afford the vaccines.
Boosters every year or so will help, like the flu vaccines help. Not fully, but will slow it down. I got the flu twice in the early 90's which developed into pneumonia. I then started getting the flu vaccine every year and haven't had it since. So they do work. I believe the Covid vaccine does work, not 100%, but even the manufacturers say it is 95% effective, which is playing out to be true as only about 5% of those who have the vaccine get Covid. So it does help.
