..Another believe-it-or-not from western NY

  Here is a shot of Lime Lake..it lies at the foot of a hill from my home.  I live about 1/2 mile to the left side of the photo.  Photo by Eagle 1, my son's photography business..

  Why is Lime Lake in the Ripley publication?  Well, it is unique in all America.   ..Being spring fed.. it has an outlet at both north and south ends.

   The south end outlet goes through various creeks and rivers, to the Mississippi, ending up in the gulf of Mexico, while the northern outlet does the same, to the St Lawrence, ending up in the Hudson Bay, and the north Atlantic.

Pretty. I wouldn't mind visiting but your country has too many trees. I enjoy going to our mountains to cool off in the summer but after about a week I am feeling hemmed in and want to get back to the plains where I can see "way over yonder".
