Former employee sues Starbucks..
« on: August 09, 2021, 08:52:57 AM »
.
  Former employee says a certain customer called him a n _ _ _ _ _ , several times, and the company didn't 'protect' him..
   https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/companies/a-black-former-starbucks-employee-claims-managers-didn-t-protect-him-from-a-customer-who-repeatedly-called-him-a-n-he-s-suing-the-company/ar-AAN76Lw?ocid=msedgntp

So he is suing Starbucks.  Not that I am sorry for Starbucks, but why go after them?  Why not sue the given customer who abused him?

...Couldn't be that he is going after Starbucks, rather than the actual 'offender', simply because Starbucks has deeper pockets, could it ?

The customer is always right...

Except when there is a chance to sue...and ride a gravy train..

Mixed bag
Manager should have tossed and
banned the customer
On the opposite hand, the clerk
should have been taught the old
ditty " sticks and stones may break
my bones, but names will never hurt me"
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .

Ever See any of the Television Shows Made by HBO?   Every Third Word in the Dialog, was 'F' or 'N'....and the Media talked about How Great the Show was....

But Samuel Clemens uses the 'N' word, in a book Written 100 years ago....The Same Media, says the Book must be Banned....

There is precedent for such a case  . Brett Cavanaugh presided over a similar case , and sided with the plaintiff that use of the N word constituted a hostile work environment .

Perhaps the judge will come up with the same decision, when a Christian comes before him, complaining that somebody near them, was using God's name in vain, which "offends" we Christians.

Just as viable a complaint..but don't expect justice..
