My Covid (?) experience
« on: August 12, 2021, 11:50:18 PM »
Just wanted to share my experience, as I've never experienced such an illness. I did not get the jab and even after all this, I don't regret it.

Although I tested negative?????????, I've spent the last 10 days under a Covid quarantine. 101-102 degree fever, body ache and a cough. At 55, I don't think I'm a picture of health, but I can still hang with about anybody on a job site. I'm cleared to work today and pretty darn excited to go back.

Just be careful guys. This really kicked my butt, and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

Okay good. Glad to hear your immune system worked like it should. Some vit D, C and zinc with
Ivermectin would have pulled you thru with less wear and tear. Leastwise it did for me, like a miracle.

Many years ago my wife and I caught the Cosackie virus, the one that was going around cruise ships. That one was bad, actually thought I was going to die...high fever with all life systems poisoned, very bad that one.
An RN friend sent over some vitamins and such, probably similar to what you mentioned (she explained everything to the wife). They really upset my stomach. I was starting to feel a little better before this dose, so I chose not to take anymore. I'd recommend about anything if it would ease the symptoms. The fever was the worst.

Wait a minute, you tested negative?  Then why do you think it was COVID?  I know there are a lot of false positive, but false negatives are far less likely. Did you have more than one test?

Glad you are feeling better either way!

Thanks!!! I only had one test and I do not know what type it was. Call it Covid or whatever you like. Before test results Doc suggested we treat it like Covid and thats the suggestion I went with. I've never had a fever so high that lasted for 6-7 days.

Worked a few hours today and I'm definitely only running about 60%. Tasks I can do in my sleep required a lot of thought and concentration. Multi tasking (my specialty) is completely out of the question. Just gonna take it easy and complete a couple small jobs I'm commited to. If I don't see improvement in a week or so, I'll head back to the Doc.

Antibody test is a blood draw.
PCR Covid test is a nasal swab.

Btw, latest data shows unvaxxed now show less disease symptoms and greater survival ability over vaxxed.

Thought I responded to this yesterday TM? I appreciate your input. I had the PCR test. Last Sunday I had my highest fever @ 103 and was preparing to go to the hospital. Worked today and I feel better than I did before I got sick. Hopefully I have some immunity now. I wouldnt wish this illness on my worst enemy. Still dont feel 100% mentally, but hopefully that will improve. Thanks again.

Covid always changes your taste and smell.  Did you have those symptoms?  If not, it probably wasn't Covid.

IF, big IF, everyone would take about 4000-5000 IU's of D3, 1000mg of vitamin C, 45-50mg of zinc every day, they probably won't get Covid and other colds and flu.

Studies also show washing or sanitizing your hands very frequently, is 45% more effective than masks at preventing Covid.  The mask doesn't do any good for well people, only sick people to keep from spreading their infected droplets.  They only real good the mask is for is to keep your HANDS, which touch everything, from touching your nose or mouth.  Thus washing your hands often.

Infected people can touch grocery carts, items on the shelf and put them back, door knobs and handles, etc.  Wash your hands on only wear a mask to keep you from touching your nose or mouth.

The Israeli study on vitamin D was the best I read about and the Muslim women were the ones getting and spreading Covid because they, being covered up, didn't get enough vitamin D in the sun.
