I've seen the Accu-Trigger fail many times at the range.  No thanks.....

Can you guess who that was, before looking below?

Why of course..it was Swampy !  Has anybody heard anything from him ?

If it wasn't a Remington 700, it wasn't a real rifle. ;D

There is a LOT of great "old stuff" here as generated by each of you "oldsters", me, Swampy, Niska, Argent 88, Stimpylu32, and all the other "deplorables and miscreants" that participate.  Members and lurkers in this and other boards are actually reading deep into the archives, seeing something that tweaks their current interest, which invokes a reply though the thread may be YEARS old.  Others respond and the old thread takes on a new lease on life.

I don't and I hope you don't either see anything "wrong" with this practice, except the occasional response, "...waiting to see how the OP resolves this issue..." and it seems obvious to even the most casual observer to remind that responder not to hold their breath.

I see no problem with it, and I think more may be enjoying the reminiscence..a trek into the past..

Most of them seem as yoou said, to take on a new life...and we can see who was perceptive, concerning certain subjects.  (Perhaps even add to them with 20/20 hindsight).   ;) ;D
