Exactly! All but a few of those "stranded Americans" were cashing in on generous taxpayer funded United States government contracts, and were helping with the "nation building" ruse.
You can see how successful it was by how long it lasted after Biden announced the pullout.

By my calendar it's only the 24th, up until the 31st the country, at least the parts we controlled, should have been secured.  When someone says x hour, I don't expect them to leave before then, x hour is x hour.
