Ive been on the side of getting it but this week my trust is fading. My learning disabled brother who is 59 went to bingo and sat next to a lady that had covid and didnt know it. He caught it and went home and now both my parents 88 and 90 have it too. They say it happens but pretty rarely but right there you have 3 out of 3 that the vac didnt do anything for. They also say it keeps it from being bad but i called yesterday and both mom and dad could barely talk and ma said my brother is even worse. Pretty scary right now because none of them are in real good health to begin with. Makes you wonder if there not underplaying this new strain and overstating the effectiveness of this vaccine for political purposes. I would have been a bit more confident if it would have protected at least one of them. Or at least one of them just got the sniffles.

My son in law was fully vaccinated and came down with covid, had a pretty rough time of it but has recovered. It sure looks like the effectiveness of the vaccines is far below what was stated. Just an uneducated guess but it appears that the vaccines will fall into the same range as flu vaccines with around a 40% effective rate.

The wife and I decided to hold off until there is more long term information on the effects of the vaccines considering they are not an actual vaccine.

My mother was very frail at 88 years old, and had dementia. She had a blood oxygen drop for about 2 hours, and then got out of bed and had no other symptoms. My daughter, son in law, grand daughter, infant great grand daughter had it. A niece, nephew, and their daughter got it.
I had 6 elderly friends get it, 3 with heart problems, 2 with diabetes. All survived.
But I have 3 friends that the CLAIM died of covid.
I have no intentions of taking this fake vaccine, because I believe it's being used to incrementally gain control of the population..
But, that is my individual choice.

I hope your parents recover. If I were you I would try to locate some hydroxicloriquine. Prayers,

I hope your parents and brother recover quickly, Lloyd. As to the vaccine it's a NO. It was rushed to market and there is no idea what it is going to do to the recipients long term.There have been a large number of drug removals that were well tested and thought to be safe that turned out to have serious health issues years later. This is a completely new, never before tried technology that even the medical profession can't agree on. No one is going to make me and mine become members of the largest human experiment with a completely new immunization in history. Even in the short term the reported things that are happening after receiving this so called vaccine are scary. I have made it this far without contacting it and I will just continue doing what I have been doing.

It may be helpful if when such a thing occurs, that the maker of the vaccine i question, be shared, so we can develop a rough demographic.

A fellow elder at our church experienced the same thing, so when he gets off quarantine, I'll find out the maker and share.

say one day when the C took him down to an estimated 30%, next day about 70%..apparently OK since then.

I accepted the vaccine from the VA..because I don't fear the vaccine. and still don't !

However, I am beginning to doubt it's efficacy, and detest the government lies we are being handed, so I won't be taking any more.

The breakthrough count is climbing daily, and even the death rate of the fully vaccinated by C19 is like 1300 now … CNN admitted it in passing. (No ponder this.....They said the only way to herd immunity is by vaxxing with their genetic mutation serums, but they said their vax doesn't give immunity from getting infected or transmitting the disease! Say what!?)

They just admitted it doesn't work. Only thinking people will understand this while slo jo, mainstream news, and democrats continue the push to force us to take it. It isn't about the disease, its about conditioning us to obey government orders.

I have no faith in a medical community that can't even make up it's mind about coffee and if it is good or bad for you. For years it was bad, bad, bad. Then they decided it was beneficial. Now a study in Europe has found that is will cause osteporosis if you drink much of it. Being a confirmed coffeeholic since my junior year in high school I should transmit light like a piece of screen wire. I had a bone scan last year as part of my yearly check up. Gotta take care of us geezers. Actually I think it's just more revenue for the hospital but I came out with perfectly sound bones. On the other hand my wife, although drinking very little coffee, has bone problems and has lost two inches of height during her lifetime.

This vaccine thing just makes me mad. They ram it down our throats like it's a magic bullet to defeat COVID and it's turning out to be just the opposite. People who thought they were protected got sick of being cooped up and went on with their lives and were exposed. Hard to argue about that, living in isolation is not good for the soul either. And the gov is still practically forcing people to get it, when it is proving to do absolutely nothing to protect you and who knows what to your body.

We know several people who have COVID now that are vaccinated as well. Most are in the safer age bracket and they area getting similar symptoms as people who weren't vaxed. I think they are going to have a real hard time selling this booster shot with all this going on.

Its a shame so many people were frightened into getting this so called vaccine. Our own government used fear to get people to succumb to taking it. Really there is one reason that should tell you not to get it, and that is just look at who is pushing people to get the vaccine. They could care less if you die. In fact I think some of them are hoping you do die. Especially those that are 65 and older. Its not a secret that this administration hates America, and has been doing everything in its power to destroy America. What makes people think that these people care about them? Many of the people in power right now care about you as much as Hitler cared about people. With Hitler he hated the Jews, Jehovah Witness's, Gypsies, homosexuals, Christians, and anyone that resisted, With this Marxist regime, its anyone that loves America, God, and liberty. Those that own guns, and voted for Trump, and people want to believe that they are trying to save you with this vaccine.

I was in the hospitol a month ago and have 2 nurses that come to my house. I have asked a bunch of them about any feedback good OR bad about the booster and all have said the are hearing nothing. CHARLIE.

This treatment is recognized in a study by Oxford University but the msm have ignored it because of Fauci and it not fitting their agenda. A doctor in Midland/Odessa started using inhaled budesonide as treatment for covid patients and as far as I know has not lost a single patient. It's a common treatment for asthma and the cost is minimal. It helps reduce the inflammation in the lungs caused by covid.

thanks for the well wishes and prayers. They both said they were doing better yesterday but i cant actually go by what they say because both of them would hide the truth to keep from going to a hospital for anything! As to medication heres what there doctor told them. Take some Tylenol or aspirin for the fever and a 1000 mg or vit. C every day. . Any of the covid drugs that are making claims out there arent proven. She said she shakes her head at people who wont take the vaccine because its not proven but will take any cure they hear about on the internet. I guess she has a point. Shes the odd man (women) out around here for doctors. She only recommends the vaccine if your over 70 or have health issues.

I know two nurses that work at our hospital. When asked what is going on with covid they say they can't talk about because they will be fired if it is found out they said anything. The hospital is really pushing testing and vaccination. Of course they are as the government is paying for it all. We have had a couple of Dr. appointments there in the last two weeks. Very few people in the place at all and not nearly as busy as before covid hit.

I have a nephew (by marriage) whose mother is a long time nurse in the biggest hospital in Amarillo, TX.
They don't have the bed capacity to my grandsons other grandpa who was in a serious car accident.

Covid 19 is the cause of the hospital bed shortage.
But it isn't covid patients causing the shortage. It's a shortage of staff.

well i guess i look at it like this. There wasnt really a problem. Nobody said the vacs would guarantee you not to get it. What for the most part they say is it will lessen the effects and keep you out of the hospital with severe symtoms and thats just what it did. Now i would have to guess that with my dad at 90 at 88 and my brother very overweight and out of shape that if they wouldnt have gotten the vaccine at least one of them would have ended up with more severe symptoms. Granted nobody can prove it EITHER way. Because of my dads bullheadedness and not wanting to admit he had it because God forbid hed have to go to a doctor and pay a copay at least 4 other family members ended up with it. My middle sister and her husband who came over when dads symptoms started and before he had the test and my dads complete stupidity when he asked my nephew to come over and help get my ma in the car to take her for a test when he already knew he had it and didnt say a thing. He ended up giving it to his wife too. The kids are being checked but i havent heard on them. But all of them ended up with mild symptoms and all had been vaccinated. So i guess if my opinion means anything which i sure know it doesnt. Id have to say the vaccine does help. Had an appointment with my VA doc yesterday for a routine check up and she said that she is swamped and im the last one for a while that she will see for a routine checkup. they had a girl outside the door that would allow one person at a time in and you were told to give her your phone number and wait in your car for your turn. That way nobody lingered in the waiting room. Doc said if anything this new strain has had more infected coming in then at the height of the first round. I will avoid getting in a pissing match over whether the vaccine works or not or if you should get it. Thats your business not mine. One thing i do believe is that its your body and it should be your choice. But ill add this. Even if you had the shot or shots and think your now superman keep in mind this new strain is kryptonite. Id also like to thank the people here that said prayers and well wishes for my family. Its greatly appreciated.

You know Lloyd, I am having to stickup for your old man; sounds like your sis should have either stayed home or protected themselves with a mask and gloves...yea, I know they don't work, but hey, that's the going recommendations right? And the same goes for your nephew, I am sure he knew he was helping them go get tested right? He should have known to protect himself if he was going into that environment. my dad never told my sister he was not feeling well and he just told the nephew that he needed to take ma to the doctor and my mother can no longer walk and at 90 its tough for the old man to get her into there car. Same thing with church. HE about knew he had it and my brother did too. Good thing is no one (at least in the family) had to be hospitalized. So id say that vax did something. But i wonder if that vax giving people a false sense of security isnt as bad as not being vaccinated. At least most who arent are careful. Id also add that its pretty obvious this new strain is MUCH more contagious so be careful out there whether you vaccinated or not. I also think there should be a law that makes it a felony to spread miss information about covid. Be it Joe Biden looking for votes, fauci looking for fame or some conspiracy theorists that barely made it through high school on the internet. People have died from being misslead by all of those. We deserve the REAL TRUTH. As it is you cant believe anyone and your just tossing the dice no matter what side you fall on.

Scary isn't it? And it even more so that world leaders want to inflect this on humanity and almost everyone falls in line.
