Z max 762x39
« on: October 01, 2021, 12:02:27 AM »
may be 2 years ago now i dumb lucked into 1000 Hornady .310 bullets #3143 for the 762x39,apparently made for zombie killing .  my thinking at that time was they would be the same as the Vmax or the SST
nope they are not . they are better ,accuracy has proven to be much better.  even as good as the #3140 bullet  which i would prefer to use on deer . getting 3/4 inch groupings with H4198

what are you shooting them in?  Bolt or autoloaders?  What kind of accuracy?

Never used any
Always liked the Hornady commercial
though, although I never understood the
guy screaming. Seemed a bit late for that
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .

What I remember issis that Z-max were just V-max with green polymer instead of red.

That is what I remember as well.  Z-max were just A-max with green polymer instead of red.
i wanted to think that to ,then i compared them .not the same on the  outside ...unless the red tip bullet i have is a v max

What I meant to say is that they were the same as V-max just a different color, but got confused with all of the letters flying around lol.
