prices are coming back down
« on: October 13, 2021, 01:17:36 AM »
not to where they were back when this crap started but much better then they were. I gave away two ars to my son in law and his buddy who helped build my house. couldnt stand the empty spaces in the ar safe so i  looked at psa and they had 3 lowers for a 175 bucks shipped. Looked and found a pistol upper with bcg for just under 300 and a m4 style upper with bcg for 280. Had all the small stuff and just had to order one buffer tube. So for you can still build a complete gun for under 500 bucks right now and about everything is actually available. Safe is full again so i gave the other lower to my nephew that spend a few days working here too. He called last night and said he had everything to build it and is comming over today to put it together and learn how to do it.

I've noticed that also. Ammo prices are also inching back down slowly. And ammo seems in pretty good supply thru online retailers. I'm seeing 9mm aluminum cased CCI ammo for $16.99 per 50. It was mostly from $12.99 to $14.99 before this plandemic.

Still a good bit of gouging going on
in this area.  I sold some excess things
a few weeks ago at a fair price, and
I saw where the buyer turned around
and sold some of it for a grossly inflated
price.
I'm not so much kicking about what I
received since I got what I asked, but
I sold at a fair price to help out a fellow
shooter, not to help out a reseller
make a big profit. Oh well. Nothing to
be done when so many enable the
gougers and pay the artificially inflated
prices
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .

I was getting a new brick of primers out of my stash to use and had a pleasant flash back when I noticed a sticker on a brick of Winchester small rifle primers of $8.96. That was a good time. There is a US company gearing up to make primers.

Expansion Industries of Carrolton, Texas will be opening a new plant on the site of the former Lone Star Army Ammunition Plant outside of Texarkana, Texas. It intends to to begin producing by 2023.
