Was she talking About the atrocities that the founding fathers committed and the pilgrims when they came to America and the crimes that they committed against the American Indian? That's probably what it was about..

I saw that news clip on Fox News maybe this morning or last night. Where she was talking about all the killing and the travesties that the founders committed against the American Indian.

You got it Dee.. She was bellyaching about how "white men came from Europe and essentially butchered and enslaved the native population, brought in disease and linfected the native population.

She was correct in soime ways, way off base in others ! ...But, instead of using Columbus Day as a reason to unite our divided states..she used the opportunity to rub salt in the open wounds...

But that should be no surprise, since the Demonrats are bound they will try to exploit any incident possible, into a hate fest !

90% of the American Indians died from white man's diseases brought over by the first explorers. The Indians east of the Mississippi either moved further west or adapted white mans farming ways. A. Jackson moved the ones who adapted to Oklahoma.

Indians were very sparsely settled in North America except the Aztecs in Mexico, which intermarried with the Spanish to be converted to Catholicism. Indians were assimilated, not wholesale slaughtered. Only in a few instances. I grant most here have some Indian blood in them from one of their ancestors.

I'm a card carrying member of the Cherokee. My great-great-grandmother was 5 years old, and made to walk the entire distance on "The Trail of Tears" to Oklahoma. My dad was fortunate enough to have known her, and she told him alot of stories about that walk. She hated the whites.
I was fortunate enough to know her daughter (my great grandmother), and she wasn't to crazy about'em either.
In Oklahoma the Cherokee, along with the other 4 "civilized tribes" were treated worse than the blacks, all the way into the early 50s, which is why I ended up being born in Texas.

Reckon Kamala will give us Tennessee, and the Carolinas back?

IIRC. Harris’s Jamaica ancestors were some of the largest slave holders on the island.

Don’t know about Joe’s longevity. He’s expendable like all useful idiots. Dems have to be kicking themselves with Harris as a plan B.

Recent poll has Biden under 30% for independents which in normal times would be a big big worry.

It’s odd....Those Dem pundits saying independents will come around if they can just pass the two bills. They don’t seem to recognize independents rebelling from outrageous food and energy costs may not want more of the same. Is the beltway bubble that impermeable or something else?

Perhaps control of the house is not important if they jam the two bills through. They seem to be comfortable with the phone and pen strategy while daring courts to stop them.

Experience has shown that the house has control of the purse except when Republicans are in charge in which case they are hapless to change spending already allocated. Obama care is the best example.

Social security will be underwater in a few years and plan A from team blue is to add 4 new entitlements.

Unfortunately, Manchin and Sinema are the best and last hope for the country.

Social Security has been broke for several decades now. Taxpayers pay for it now. Congress borrowed it, and never paid it back.

As far as Biden, and Harris' popularity, or lack thereof, it isn't needed.

If the Marxist Democratic Party can steal a presidential election, and two Senate seats in less than 2 months with the world watching, who cares about popularity?

Not too many years ago the Osage Nation were the richest Tribe in the world. Back in my youth working for a time in the Oil fields as a roughneck in Osage county Ok. Every barrel of oil pumped in the county was Osage oil. The Tribe did, and still own all mineral rights in Osage county. I think they get every fourth barrel pumped without any work. Not every member of the tribe got the royalties though. Richest before the Casino's LOL! That changed everything.
