The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Alec Baldwin and charged him with first-degree murder as well as possession of child pornography, and ordered a media blackout that has been approved by a judge. Outlets in the United States are temporarily banned from reporting on Baldwin’s arrest.

Baldwin is said to have killed the cinematographer and attempted to kill the director, Joel Souza in a dispute over payment. Baldwin tried to make it appear like it was an accident, but further investigation revealed it was anything but. According to the Los Angeles Times:

Hours before actor Alec Baldwin fatally shot a cinematographer on the New Mexico set of “Rust” with a prop gun, a half-dozen camera crew workers walked off the set to protest working conditions.

The camera operators and their assistants were frustrated by the conditions surrounding the low-budget film, including complaints about long hours, long commutes and collecting their paychecks, according to three people familiar with the matter who were not authorized to comment.

Safety protocols standard in the industry, including gun inspections, were not strictly followed on the “Rust” set near Santa Fe, the sources said. They said at least one of the camera operators complained last weekend to a production manager about gun safety on the set.

When Baldwin was arrested at his hotel, he was founded with over 1,000 images of child pornography on his phone and laptop. He faces multiple felony charges. Baldwin’s lawyer did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Well, lets get real. A Sheriff's office can refuse to comment on a case, but doesn't have the authority to order a media blackout, and a judge doesn't have to authority to suppress freedom of speech.

A judge can issue a gag order, but that only restricts those involved in the case from commenting on the case, he can't stop the media from publishing anything they find out.  That does not mean it didn't happen, as the MSM has sustained from doing stories, such as the laptop incident, for their own purposes, but there are plenty of non-MSM news sites that would be all over this.

I for one have been holding my breath for a retraction on the Russian collusion hoax. I think I’ll pass out now... How about mostly peaceful protests? January 6th? Still waiting. How about building back better with double gas prices etc? Open borders? Vaxed only for U.S. citizens excluding congress, u.s. postal service, those on the welfare titt? Etc.

There seems to be some truth to it. At least to the criminal charges. It wouldn't surprise me if the FBI also got
involved in this, or some kind of federal agency.

My thoughts exactly, since there hasn't been any names yet mentioned. Apparently there were a lot of idiots
playing around with firearms on this movie set. Perhaps OSHA will get involved by investigating what safety
requirements were being used. Or violated.

There are going to be a lot law suits resulting from this. And that movie is DOA, with Baldwin being involved it would suck anyway.

I have doubts about the info in the original post but hearing this morning's NPR news (all we get here) I was gratified that even NPR was willing and able to articulate to the effect:  the cinematographer was killed accidentally  when Alec fired a gun at her that turned out to be loaded with a live round.   For the first few days the media talked how the woman was killed "when a gun went off"  and other such crap as if the gun loaded, cocked, aimed, and pulled  the trigger  all by itself.  The media just could not say Alec carelessly aimed and fired prop gun that was loaded. 

Why the heck there was any live ammo within 300 yards of the whole set is beyond me and to plink with the prop guns seems beyond stupidity. I say as a hunter safety instructor. Alec bears some responsibility - he should have checked the gun himself.

From what I heard on Fox this afternoon the Sheriff said that the news people need to stop calling this an accidental shooting. He said that he still  has an on going criminal investigation on the case and he seemed to indicate that they are looking at several people at this time. The far left media is trying to make this an accident to take care of Baldwin.

I never look for, or expect any, moral common sense, honesty, or accountability, coming out of Hollywood California.

They are an organized band of people who "pretend" to be "someone", and "something" they are not.

They have no "moral center", and because America collectively has become a "society of watchers", and because of this, have made these people, both fabulously wealthy, and powerful in voice.

Nuthin that comes out of Hollywood, or Washington DC surprises me.
