How long do beans, rice, pasta, peas, and lentils really last? I’d think for a very long time. Anyone know?

Vaccum sealed with a de-humidity packet thrown in, probably over 25 years.

  Freeze them an they will last  10  or more years . I save  all my  garden  seed that way .

I buy Drakes by the 5 pound bag and freeze it. Takes me years to go through a whole bag.

I used to buy the cheap cuts of beef
on sale and make big bunches of
jerky, but I haven't seen any reasonably
priced beef in a very long time.
I should try to dry vegetables I guess

in 76 we ate sea rations we found on the ship that were marked 1945 and they were fine and were talking 1945 technology!! Cigarettes were harsh though but then they were luckys. Id say properly vacuum sealed grain would probably last a life time. Well past the years i have left on earth.
