...Condensing my shop
« on: October 30, 2021, 08:27:05 AM »
.
I am in process of condensing my shop. I am done with the larger projects, such as raiings, commercial signposts, iron beds etc., so I am turning most of my shop equipment over to my grandson.
I will be moving from my seperate building, to a smaller operation in a corner of our newly restored barn/shop, where I will probably turn to small stuff, such as, book ends, door knockers, blades or other artistic expressions.

My gas forge is one I built in about 1994, so it is getting rather tired by now, so i will be purchasing a new forge, along with keeping a small, portable coal forge.

I have ordered one from Amazon. It is a forge built in Minnesota. If I should at some time want longer space, I can add another unit right behind the first one.

It will have pass through capability, so I can do mid-rod twists, or forge a sword. Reviews are very favorable, especially for a low cost forge.  Anyone here have experience with ths model?
