I believe that communion is a very serious thing, and unless your heart is right (no democrats) you should not take it.
For instance, if you’re sitting in Church fuming about something your neighbor did to you or the guy who cut you off in traffic, you don’t need to take communion.
Before I take it, I try to go in my minds eye back to the scourging and back to his suffering on the cross which he did for me.   And I pray for him to make me worthy.

I totally agree with that. My point is, communion can be done anywhere, anytime.
I see people in restaurants all the time, holding hands, and praying before a meal, not just giving thanks for the meal, but for Christs' sacrifice on the Cross. I've prayed with them.
My late grandfather did it before EVERY MEAL, and it wasn't just giving thanks for the  meal, and it was understood by everyone at the table.
And one should always clear ones mind of any negativity before praying.

i have no problem with opinions like bugeyes or ironglows that differ slightly from my own. Everyone has a right to worship God in what they feel is the best way. I consider all christians my brothers. Its the petty bs that dee tends to spout. Calling others that wont agree with him cultists and trying to tear them down.
