Kyle Rittinhouse, An American Hero!
« on: November 19, 2021, 01:44:07 PM »
The kid fought his way out of a mob trying to maim or kill him, then went to Hell and back for the last year, with the news media, BLMers, ANTIFA, every liberal in the country, and even a president trying to destroy him.

Why? For defending himself, in a desperate videography of the events, one right after the other, in textbook fashion.

He inadvertently, unknowingly, unintentionally, gave a textbook demonstration of what the 2nd Amendment is all about.

Rittinhouse is a PATRIOT of the highest order, and we all owe him an unaffordable debt of gratitude.

Self defense is a "God Given" right,  not a government given.

Thank you Kyle Rittinhouse.  A GENUINE American hero.

I doubt he would have went to clean up rioters damage if he had known the end result. A 17 year old with paramedics skills, and civic minded enough to do menial labor for others seem like a pretty good boy to me.

He went down to put out a fight with a fire extinguisher, and got attacked for his efforts.
He didn't quit, and came out winner in their attacks on him.

Then the liberal system tried to ruin him, the liberal media demonized him, and he still got on the witness stand and told his side of it.
Self defense is still ok in the United States. Hes got grit in my opinion.

I'm no hero by any stretch. I've had 3 men try to kill me, and if somebody asked me if I wanted to do it again, I'd say no.

More like Hero. IMO... He went there to serve and protect. What would you call the ones he shot?

That's the way I saw it. He didn't just talk the talk. He volunteered to go help and try to make things better.

LOL, yeah, 3 times in a row. I'll take good luck over skill anytime.

But what's really important is, he didn't quit, or give up. He retreated when he  could, and fought "effectively" when he had to.

It all boils down to this and in the bigger picture he's far from a stupid kid. And all while the armchair quarterbacks and second guessers sit on the butt in the their living rooms.

im all for the kid but i guess i have a bit higher standard as to who i consider a hero. To me a hero is someone who is willing to die for someone else. That will stand and fight when bullets are flying. My heros wear helmets or badges.

Hero's come in many shapes and forms. Doctors and health care workers on the front lines, truckers that keep our shelves stocked, grocery store clerks and workers that show up on the job even in the face of uncertain dangers to supply us, people that preform selfless acts that benefit others. Fathers and mothers that take on their roles even though the children aren't their biological children. The list goes on and on of true hero's but I guess it's how you look at it.

i sure cant argue that. A hero is someone that is willing to sacrifice and risk there lives for others. I doubt anyone ever got the medal of honor for protecting there own hide.

Hero: a person who is admired, or idealized, for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities.

Lives do not have to be risked, for one to achieve hero status.
Many lives have been saved, and changed by simply exhibiting "exemplary behavior".

I'm not so sure any of my hero's, would agree with and/or back BLM.

yup that kind of says it all. Truth is that hero will probably do more to hurt our second amendment rights and the right to carry then he helped it. States are already trying to push legislation to restrict rights to carrry. He was on tv for one reason. Because they paid him big bucks. I posted before the verdict was even in that this was a loose loose for gun owners. We dont gain a thing either way and either way it can be used against us.

agree. that puts him in the same class as those 13 who biden killed or people like Marcus Cantrell and the police and firemen killed in the line of duty, medal honor holders that quietly sit home and dont make a dime off the fact there  legs or arms are blown off saving there fellow soldiers. Want to see heros. Stop by your local VA hospital. Its full of them.

Kyle is a likeable kid, and he is no dummy, but quite intelligent!  He also is not a hero, in the conventional sense of the word.

He shot some attackers who were bent upon killing him...  He did what he had to do..

HJe deserves neither condemnation nor praise for what he did..he did what he  had to do!

      If you want two examples of stupid, here are a couple good ones;

   1) STUPID...brings a skateboard to a gun fight !

   2)  STUPID ...somehow conflates a fight between 4 white people as "racism" against 'people of color'..

More incredible STUPID... (3+ min video)    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GAP_cXtEDQc

    If there are anyheroes in this trial, I would suggest that the jury members are the real heroes;

They didn't bend to threats, they didn't crumble before ugly demonstrators, they voted for the logical facts, even though they may face who-knows-what in the future, if those ugly people can find out their names and addresses.

..And confidential information is easy to get hold of these days !

The jury collectively showed great courage, and character, when so many were trying to intimidate them through threats of violence, and even trying to follow them home.

I was very pleasantly  surprised when they delivered the correct verdict under such duress.

As far as "hero status" for Kyle Rittinhouse house it depends on individual interpretation, and in some cases, who said it.

They're are several thread BEFORE  his acquittal saying that the verdict would "define" the 2nd Amendment, and self defense.

Apparently that way of thinking is "selective".
Kyle Rittinhouse by some here, gets no credit for the courage it took to endure months of jail confinement in an attempt to force a plea bargain.
A crooked defense attorney that tried to sell him out.
The media, and a president that slandered and demonized him, and condemned him.

No, all he did was, stand up for his right of self defense, and the rights provided by the 2nd Amendment.

He didn't crumble like most do, and take a "plea deal".

He instead fought for his constitutional rights in one of the most watched trials in American history, that re-defined OUR rights.

He stood up, and believed in the Constitution, and Bill of Rights at his own peril. ;)

Such a sad little fellow.  ::)
