Do you still respect the NFL?
« on: November 21, 2021, 01:49:49 AM »
.
The NFL has been bad mouthing patriotism..but perhaps they should get their act together, and not employ lawless, violent players who belong in jail !  Perhaps a psych test is in order for potential NFL "stars"...

These videos may be tough to watch..

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nqw8JtUroB0

BTW:   ..Seems like FOX is the only MSM willing to report on this video..

  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NWGX0faEN1c

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZXyLnWIhDk

...And remember the player who hired a hit man to kill his pregnant girlfriend?  Now he has a son who is severely handicapped, because he survived although his mother didn't  ..But thankfully, he has a great grandmother..      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b48cPxCu94o

NFL doesn't have much time for patriots, or the likes of Tim Tebow, but these giuys seem to be OK with them..

NFL, NBA, MLB, their all the same. All three could swear total allegiance to China, and there are sports addicts here in the United States that will still be loyal.
MLB, and the NBA are well on the way. They buy most of their equipment, and uniforms from China.
MLB didn't have their world series patches during the series because a Chinese cargo ship was held up getting into port.

  The folly of it all....
Now the NFL wants a new stadium at or near Buffalo.  Taxpayers are expected to furnish a couple billion if located in the suburbs..over 3 billion , if located in the city.

Of course they are being unrealistic, especially if they go for the city location, since there is not enough highway infrastructure to handle the traffic surge.  Then there is another problem..tailgating !
Tailgating parties are a regular in Orchard Park, where the present stadium is located..lavatories etc, are there for them.  ..But moved to the city..tailgating would be a no-no, since they could anticipate vandalism and other unsavory things, happening throughout the week.

So I sit here and wonder..What is wrong with the present stadium..can't be much more than 30 years old, and for Heaven's sake, the colideum in Rome is still standing strongh after 2,000 years !

..And last but not least, why must taxpayers foot the bill... the NFL makes many billions of bucks, so why should taxpayers pay  for new facilities, since they don't pay taxes to build new facilitise for Ford, GM, AT&T or General Mills ?

The taxpayers who can’t afford a ticket are the ones who have to build the stadium.
It’s the same for all sports.

I never respected them even when I watched football; they are like any sanctioning body, you may like them or hate them but respect is not something they deserve ever.

I watched the nfl to learn my position in football when I was 10 playing peewee football in cleveland and never looked back.

Didn't watch it much before the kneeling started, zero after that. Then I hear about this black national anthem? No respect for anyone who supports any of this disrespectful nonsense either.
