Something fishy going on there...  The largest cream cheese producer..and some saythe only cream cheese producer, is in upstate NY, at Lowville...about 30 miles off the east end of Lake Ontario and about 20 miles south of Fort Drum.
   https://www.benekeith.com/food/products/kraft-philadelphia-cream-cheese/

Those cows have to be milked and that milk must be processed before it spoils..and there are no reports of farmers dumping milk !
According to Google map, Lowville is 287 miles from Manhattan by roads..and a world away from NY City by their attitude.
I'm calling some kind of political BS, on this one...

I was just at a wedding this last
week,  and the appetizer buffet
had what looked to be a 5 gallon
stainless bowl of cream cheese
with dill or chopped basil sprinkled
liberally on top. No shortage here

I really wonder at some of these "shortages" !  Keep in mind, it seems to be that some of the big, international corporations are pushing  this "woke' scenario...we often hear them publishing sympathetic messages .

For instance..  I think everyone has noticed by now, that very few brand new cars are available.  We are told they are not available because of a certain computer chip.
The last few years of my working life, I worked for a major electronics firm, much of whose production involved making computer chips.  Now, obviously I was not an engineer of such systems, but it seems we could switch
over from one chip line to another in a couple days if not a week.

How long has this chip shortage been going on..10 months..a year..maybe more?  I have noticed that  a 1 or 2 year old pickup truck is selling for almost as much as new price.  Did the big guys want to clear out a second hand overload of such...and do it at a big profit?

Or did the CCP decide to twist Uncle Sam's beard?   I  have heard that the  needed chip is made in the PRC,
so is the CCP putting the squeeze on us?  ...And if it were China toying with us...which big, international corporation is going to blow their cover, and tell the American people the fault all lies with the CCP playing economic games?

Are the big auto builders going to "let the cat out of the bag"?  I think it not likely, now that the big corps are having the CCP build some of their cars..

Maybe Fox News was just trying to incite panic on NYC streets.

Fox doesn't have to..  Apparently that stupid De Blasio is doing as much damage as he can on his way out !

As he clears out his office, he has issued more restrictive "mandates" upon those equally stupid NY City denizens, as a thank you for not re-electing him..
Those clowns down there must be "gluttons for punishment" !

Oh those poor people in NYC. How will they ever survive? I bet they are out of LOX also. But that is a good combo on a warm Bagel. I buy it when I can find it.

Well, I struggled and struggled trying to feel some pain for their cream cheese situation. For some reason I never felt a thing.  ;D I might get just a twinge if the shortage ever makes it down here where it wouldn't  be available to stuff jalepinos with when you put them on the grill. On second thought, probably not. They are good just grilled by themselves.

There is a lot of cream cheese at our dollar general. What are they wanting gourmet cream cheese? NYers are so weird.
