I found the announcment this morning. Today is his last show on Fox. The announcement stated that he is leaving on his own. Questions 1. Is the contract up and he refused to sign it? 2 Does he see the writing on the wall about his shows ratings? 3 Does he have a chance to go to CNN when it changes hands July 2022? 4 Was he given the choice to leave Fox or be fired? I am NOT sorry to see him leave. He is not cut from the same cloth as his father, at least in the beginnings of Mike's tenure.

Yes, he was one of their token leftists. Actually I am pleased that Fox has some lefties on.. If they didn't allow any lefties, Fox would be nearly as boring as the alphabet network news. ...And we don't want to be a thick-headed as the left anyway !

Looks like Wallace is not alone. Brian Williams is also retiring from the "peacock" !

Perhaps these guys have suddenly discovered that th eguys they have been covering for, are some really rotten excuses for men.

Or perhaps they can "see the handwriting upon the wall" ..that the next election the leftists facing a day of justice.

I would rather not have any liberals on fox, but I think Fox is headed toward being like the rest of the leftist pack of America hating media outlets. The biggest issue with the left wing media today is them not reporting something to save some politicians hide in an election. Just like they do over and over with democrats to try and hide their corruption. Then of course the lies they tell over and over to brain wash people. I have to say its worked well for the owners of the big media conglomerates. Proof of that is looking at what people elect in this country.

I have refrained from watching fox news except for at times Jesse Watters, Tucker, and Ingram.

Actually, I think Fox has a couple or 3 left of center people..is to keep from becoming nothing more than an echo chamber.
The echo chamber effect is one of the major reasons why the alphabet networks are maintaining such low ratings.

Don't know IG. How does a media outlet become an echo chamber if they are tellin the truth? I don't think a news source needs a few full blown liberals on their staff to not become an echo chamber. I actually quit watching Fox because they hired people like Wallace and Juan Williams. Give me a media source that tells the truth all the time, every time, and doesn't try to hide information, and I will listen to it.

Not difficult to explain.. Take 5 people who completely agree on all major issues..place them in set to discuss the issues..they all agree..point for point..

...Can't find a better word picture of an echo chamber..

Take the primary anchors of CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC and MSNBC place them around a table to discuss the issues...and there too, you would have an echo chamber.

Nothing but the same thoughts... echoing back and forth...

Look at it this way...rather than sitting there couplementing one another, the genuine journalists can be refuting
the leftist claims.
... And if any lefties happen to be watching, they can see logic being brought to bear, sometghing they won't get with their echo-chamber alphabet networks.

So far as the conservative view, most of us here, evidently have known and accepted it for much of our lives.

I think most people are like you and I. We want the truth, and don't need the liberal BS mixed in "to make it interestin".
