Expensive reading glasses.

Yes, there is a big noticeable difference between these and the cheaper ones. These the frames are better and they deal with blue light. Which is the glare off of computer screens, which is supposed to be bad for your eyes over time.
And I bought those wrist support cuffs. Which help against carpal tunnel.

I buy my readers at Walmart, and yes they sell the ones with the tiny that helps with the computer lights.

I haven’t checked at Walmart, I might need to check those out. These I have now came from an office supply store in Lubbock. $50.00, I still thought that was a bit high.

When I got lasik by one of the best eye surgeons in Texas I asked him about readers.
He said go to Walmart. The ones with the computer coating are about $13.00. I'm wearing a pair right now.

In eye wear, you get what you paid for.
I do not need reading glasses as I am near-sighted but the top line lenses I have are so much better than ones I got at a cheaper eye glass places, the money is worth it.
The low buck vintage frames I have used for decades, the ones that have gold in the frame, the supply is near gone now; I wish I had bought a dozen when they were ten to twenty bucks at antique shops twenty five years ago.

After cataract surgery I only need readers for little bitty stuff up close. This forum on an ipad or reading a pocketbook novel for example. The surgeon said get cheap readers and that is what I did, Foster Grant frameless, 1 1/2x, twelve bucks at Dollar General. I wear Ray-Ban shades outside as I did before corrective glasses became necessary.

At age 76 I have 20-20 vision in both eyes. I did have a stroke in the left eye and have had a couple of laser surgeries and get shots (yeah a needle in the eye) every so often but so far it hasn't adversely impacted my distance vision.

Up close I can't see for crap. Eye doctor said just get cheap over the counter reading glasses for that.

My computer monitor is a 40" TV and is sitting about 3.5' away from me. At that distance I'm using distant vision not close vision so I need no assistance from glasses. Besides a 40" screen is pretty dang big so the text on my screen is quite large and easy to read.

I only need help when holding a book, magazine or such to read. For that I have to have the reading glasses.

When I first started needing reading glasses. I bought readers at Walmart. They worked, but my issue was many times when I needed them, I didn't have them with me. So eventually I bought bifocals, and that is still what I wear.

My monitor is a 24" and sits about 2' away from me. I can see it fine with my naked eye. I'm really enjoying not having to wear progressive bifocals anymore.

I've Spent a Small Fortune this Year Puttin Scopes on all My Contender Barrels.....Cuz I can See the Sights OR the Target....but not Both anymore...

Dunno what to do about the Revolvers and Pistols.....

I like contacts because they give me much more freedom.

My optometrist told me I would probably need readers for the rest of my life when I’m wearing my contacts.
