Texas Has Taken Over Building The Border Wall!

Texas Governor Abbott "officially announced" that the State of Texas has taken over building the border wall.
He is saying we can build it faster, and cheaper, because we are getting ranchers, farmers, and other landowners DONATING land for the wall instead of Texas having to buy it. They're sick of it, and some have been life long Democrats. But not now.
The wall is identical to Trumps' wall, with the same contractors putting up 750 miles of wall, to the tune of a little over 100 yards a week.
He'll get no resistance from Texans, only praise.

Tucker interviews Abbott, where he talks about the building of the wall.  The right thing for other states to do would be to give money to this cause.  We all know there is a fat chance of that happening from states with Marxist governors. I would certainly hope that some states will chip in.  this isn't just a problem for Texas. Its a problem that threatens the sovereignty of the whole United States.

Actually it is good to see Abbott and Texas stand up to this problem and flip slo jo off so to speak. When the federal government won't shoulder their burden the states need to step in and it seems like Texas has. Considering the political mess NM has become in the last two years if I were younger I would be considering moving back to dear ol' Texas. Only 18 miles would get the job done.

I picked up and sold everything at 70 years old in the middle of January. Linda was 75.

It was hard for a few months, and I worked day and nights to get this house ready to live in.
When it was finished and I got my breath.
West Texas is the only place to be.
Wild turkeys walking across the front yard, buffalo east of town, cows grazing all around us. Mule and whitetail deer standing on the side of the road.
Badgers walking in the ditch.
And saddled cow horses in trailers on cafe parking lots at noon time every day.

Your right about Amarillo. Lotta a shootins an such. I like about 6 miles from the main gate of the 6666s Ranch over by Borger. Not much trouble here.

You couldn't pay me to live in or close to either of those two towns. Just too dam many people. Lubbock has the distinction of being cited by the EPA for pollution during one of our famous south plains sandstorms several years ago. Roswell, NM was also cited by them somewhere in the same time frame for the same problem. NBC news, Lubbock, carried the Roswell story as "In the city where you can see 87 miles the EPA says pollution is too high". On a clear day you certainly can see Sierra Blanca Mountain (also called "Baldy" by the old timers) which is 87 miles west. I use to be able to see the mountain from the western edge of the caprock which is quite a few miles farther east until Mexico cranked up two big electrical generating plants in Copper Canyon and the pollution from those flows north right up the Pecos Valley limiting seeing Baldy to days when the wind is from the north which is seldom.

My wind sock tells me what direction it’s blowing from. Those are handy things to have.

There's a good many states that
would have barred private parties
from contributing toward any safety
measures such as a border wall,
that is if they didn't make lots of
legal trouble for any donors to the
cause.
JMHO- there's too many people
these days that stick their noses
where they don't belong.
Politicians and other thieves of
public funding that are many miles
away from the southern border
shouldn't concern themselves
with the measures border states
have to take to prevent invasion
of our sovereign republic

Had to listen to some out of staters
boo hoo about Texas executing scum
bucket criminals a few weeks ago at
a family function I had to drive for
most of the day to get to.
I guess I'm too old because I've never
understood these people flocking here
to get away from the tyranny they embraced
and voted for for years, then they want
to move here, they build and buy houses
in flood plains and areas of unstable soil,
they boo hoo about the rural electric and
water service because they can't run the
a/c 24/7 and take 45 minute showers
and water the lawn with scarce drinkable
water,  and boo hoo about the fragile
country roads that they keep a hot path
on. They come here and praise and vote
for a POS charlatan like baytoe o'dork
and wonder why things are now gilflirted
up like the place they came from.
They've brought their sorry juvenile
delinquent kids that reek havoc all over
the countryside because the rural LE
are fewer and spread thinner than the
urban areas, and they can get away
with more.
What happened to that small town charm
that I moved here for ?
