New Chrono - Randy?
« on: March 09, 2004, 07:22:57 AM »
I ordered the chrono from Competition Electronics this AM - any quirks that I should know about?

I was leaning towards the F1 but decided to spend the extra $'s for the one you suggested.  Hope to give it a whirl this weekend...
Keep shooting muzzleloaders - they are a blast....

Just lose the diffusion screens, pop on the two front wires only, and shoot high between their tops at 5 ft. Clear plastic mailing tape over the sensors keeps the crud out, helps it work better as well. It screws on a tripod also, so a cheap Slik or Vivitar at 10-12 ft. will help keep it cleaner yet.

I just got one also. They say to keep it 10 or 15 feet away. That
of course is with Muzzleloaders.
