Long Gone- Ain't comin back
« on: December 20, 2021, 04:47:09 PM »
Well now another business closed
right here close.
The Taco Bueno.
Right next door to the ex-Braums
Just up the street from the ex
Carl Jr. empty building they built
new
Right across from the ex Taco Inn
Can't forget the Southwest Feed
store that closed the doors after
over 60 some odd years in business
under that name.

Sorry, losing track of the closed
businesses and boarded up buildings.
The city and county just can't
understand why all these places
pull stakes and go away, and don't
prosecute thieves and shoplifters
and murderers. The city council
cries and boo hoos every year
about the lack of grocery stores
and other businesses, then cries
some more when people get locked
up

be wearing state issue.
Never did notice all the ankle
monitors until a summer or so ago

Used to be a great area.
I lived a county to the south for a
couple of years, then one to the
east for a couple then here.

Too many loose career dopers
and criminals and border jumpers

Back in the early 70s had a police friend shot on a traffic stop in Balch Springs.
He lived, but he'd lost so much blood he'd gone into shock, and wouldn't let anyone walk up to him.

Mesquite just lost an officer not
far inside Mesquite from the B Springs
border. Used to be fairly rural, but
the local SS office is there now,
and lots of the downtrodden gather
around close. Not a whole lot of
difference between the east side
and west Dallas/Oak Cliff now

A good many businesses have closed
their doors all over the area.
I can't say I blame them at all.

there has just recently a big business that announced its closing at the first of the year. It is Schramms farms and orchards. Its a 3rd generation farm that has been selling its own raised fruits and vegetables since 1864.  Its closing because the 4th generation doesn't want nothing to do with all the work it takes to run a place like that.  Every year around the 1st of June, I couldn't wait to get their strawberries. they were better than any I have ever tasted. I sure will miss those.

Though a few, very few here, may think otherwise, in light of the common analytical statement, "watch whatthey do...not what they say"..we must look at their track record.

  Destroy our petroleum production advantage
Stop our pipelines, while signing off on Russia's
Colluding with China on the CCP virus
Pulling abruptly out of Afghanistan, when an orderly evacuation was already arranged
Backing down od commitments all over the globe
Doing their best to bankrupt the United States
  Defunding police in critical cities
Encouraging riots in cities across the country
Launching ridiculous "freebie" programs, which will be very difficult to end
Leaving citizens and allied individuals behind in Afhanistan, at the 'mercy' of the Taliban
Doing great damage to our military by it's 'gender policies' and appointing Marxist sympathizers to high positions
Floded oir border with illegal aliens..non-skilled, who will displace many of our own entry level workers..if not on welfare.
Virtually turned over our border to the cartels..along with their human and drug trafficking

...And last but not least on this short list;
Turning over an entire army's worth of highest tech weapons and delivery systems to a terrorist organization..

Seeingthis and many other situations to numerous to mention, I personally, no longer consider them as simply incompetent..but actively trying to DESTROY the United States..any way they can..

I've served high risk warrants in south Dallas/South Oakclif. Great folks in that area. Always carried an extra sidearm on those.

It really is evident that the Marxists now in power are making every attempt to destroy what we know as America.

I would challenge any supporters of the national Democrats..to show us ..1...one..uno...ein...thing the Democrats under Biden admin, have done that has been good for the United States..

It seems patently clear that they have been schooled in the Marxist way of ..bringing down the "system"...so they can introduce the rights corroding, disease of communism..

Even long time business in Lubbock TX are now boarding up. Such a shame, that city was once a huge commerce hub. People from all around even from other states would come there to shop. Even Bush sr.
once said that Lubbock was a futuristic city.

What a shame
Probably about like here.
These businesses can't write off so
much shoplifting as they're experiencing
with the lax municipal justice systems.
Lots of stores being boarded up and
nothing coming back in to replace them.
