More than just a coincidence?

Here, Rabbi Jonathan cahn reports upon our hasty, shameful and wasteful exit from Afghanistan..  Seems like
too much cross reference to be a coincidence.  Pay special attention to dates and places.. (13 min video)

A Messianic Jewish version of Hal Lindsey.

Judaism and Christianity don't mix. One either believes the New Testament plan of Salvation or they don't.

Messianic Jews have tried to stir the two together so they can satisfy both sides. Live by the Torah, and "clearly state they ARE NOT converts to Christianity.  ::)

Messianic Jews use the Old testament and the new testament..just as we Christians do, so where is the problem?

They have accepted Jesus as their Savior..so what is your issue? It seems one would have to be an extreme legalist (IMO) in order to be hostile to those Jews who are fulfilling the prophesy of many Jews in the latter times, discovering who their true Messiah is.

Like I said. A Messianic Jewish version of Hal Lindsey.

As far as this "Messianic Jew" religion I'm skeptical. Sounds more like a cult. They say they are not Christian converts, which contradicts your version. THEY IN FACT EMPHATICLY DENY BEING CONVERTED TO CHRISTIANITY ::)

JESUS was a Messianic Jew.
Jesus was THE Messiah, from which the term came.

Messianic Jews believe that Yeshua is the Messiah, and that the Hebrew Bible and New Testament are the authoritative scriptures
Salvation in Messianic Judaism is achieved only through acceptance of Jesus as one's savior, and Jewish law does not contribute to salvation.
Belief in Jesus as a messiah and divine is considered by Jews to be the defining distinction between Christianity and Judaism. Evangelical groups usually accept Messianic Judaism as a form of Christianity.

Adherents of Messianic Judaism believe that the movement is a sect of Judaism.
In Hebrew they tend to refer to themselves as maaminim ("believers"), not converts, and yehudim ("Jews"), not notzrim ("Christians").  Jewish organizations reject this framing, and the Supreme Court of Israel has rejected this claim in cases related to the Law of Return, and instead consider Messianic Judaism to be a form of Christianity.

I'm gonna take the "Messianic Jews'" word for it. They're like some here. They're confused.

Small correction..  I said they use both the old and new testaments, and they accept Jesus as their Savior.  Where did you see me calling them Christian?

Keep in mind, that eventually Israel in general, will be saved (Romans 11:22-29)..  In fact vs 24 reminds us that WE are the ones "grafted in"..while any Jew who accepts Jesus is a "natural".

BTW:  Jesus is a "Messianic Jew"..He is their Messiah..and he is 100% Jew..so how much more Messianic Jew could He be?
Saved Jews are reticent to call themselves Christian, because culturally they consider the term "Christian" to indicate a gentile believer. The word "Christian" simply means "follower of Christ", so don't get too worked up !

Another thought...  Messiah or Christ..the same word, except the former is in Hebrew, the latter is Greek..
So they use their own language to denote the same person..while we borrow the Greek.  No sweat !

   Here, from people who deal daily, with the small differences;

Now your picking nits. Your narcissism knows no bounds. You will twist and say "anything" in your effort to appear right.
How can you accept Christ, and not be Christian.
Your in the "not making sense" realm just to cover yourself.
Now you can feverishly search out some "link" that will justify your support, and defense of this cult cult that sprung up around 1970 and boasts a mere estimated 350,000 WORLDWIDE.::)

No Dee, I am simply presenting facts/scripture..  In (John 4:25) the woman calls Jesus the Messiah, then
in vs 25, Jesus affirms her statement...explaining that He is the Messiah!

I am offering the words of John and Jesus..  Words have meanings, so it seems to be you, who is "nit picking".

It seems Bugeye is correct, in referring to Jesus as a Messianic Jew..

Let's look closer...  Do you deny He was the Messiah...or do you deny He was a Jew ?

Your narcissistic self defense of a cult, trying to promote one of its leaders as being prophetic is disgusting, and now, by referencing, and demoting Christ as being a Messianic Jew, is even more disgusting. (Point 10)

Christ IS the Messiah, and cannot follow himself.

People believe your BS because they are too lazy to do the research, or don't know how. (Point 6)

Your spiritual narcissism is so severe, that you comfortably fit in all 10 categories.
You are a poster child for "Spiritual Narcissism".

You hammer JWs, and defend a newer sect (1970) and obviously everybit as cultic by its very nature.

This "Messianic Jews" Cult tried to get a foothold in the mid 1800s, but died out due to being easily recognized as to what it was.
In 1970 it started creeping back in,  and now has an estimated 350,000 "world wide" membership.
Its goal is to infiltrate Christianity through the ignorance of uninformed Christians, and thereby gain validity.

  Dee;
I tried your link, but my web site protection warned me off the site..

..But it would seem that trying to deny Jews who turn to Jesus (just as scripture says), could be a negative move.

Erased the link.

Jesus' initial followers were Jews who had become believers..invluding allthe apostles he selected, and his own brothers, who were a bit later to come around.

Fact is, they were not called "Christians" until they went to Antioch to preach...and even then, those calling them Christians, considered the same a derogatory term

26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.  (Acts 11:26)

Since this thread is about supporting cults and furnishing them a platform for legitimacy, I'm sure I can find a LDS priest, a JWs preacher, and possibly even an Islamic with a very similar message of prophecy. I'll look.  :D
