Time For Texas To Send Ted Cruz To The House!
« on: January 05, 2022, 02:57:30 PM »
Typically Ted Cruz seems pretty solid, but apparently ole Ted scares pretty easy.
Last January 6th according to him, was a "terrorist attack".

Really Ted? Really?

And they wonder why the Republicans can't get anything done.

I had just heard about his comment yesterday.  I always have been a Ted Cruz fan. I guess mostly because its had to find a republican that you like anymore.  A good constitutionalist republican is hard to find anymore.  I couldn't believe Ted would side with the likes of Pelosi and the Marxists on the events of last Jan 6.  Since they also called it a terrorist attack.  I don't recall Ted ever calling any of the riots a terrorist attack last year when government buildings were attacked and vandalized by BLM and Antifa.

Maybe ole Ted is shooting for a spot on the SC, since he ain't ever going to be president, and wants to appease some of the left just a bit.

Most of Congress has a law degree. Ever listened to how prosecutors, and defense lawyers talk to witnesses on the stand?

Over the years, I told several lawyers to enjoy that time in the courtroom with the judge and bailiff, because if they tried to treat me the same way outside the courtroom, they'd get their asses kicked. They didn't like the prospect so tended to mind their manners.

Same way in Congress. Most have never had that much needed ass whuppin.

The reality of the masses coming into the Capitol building scared the crap out of'em.
So now, every Joe Blow citizen is a potential terrorist.

Ha ha, So maybe Ted needs a good ole ass whoopin.  I find it hard to believe that Ted doesn't know that trying to appease the leftists never works, and never will work. He has been around long enough to know that, and he isn't dumb.

That statement is going to haunt Teds 2024 ambitions.

Right now Cruz is on Tucker Carlson trying to walk it back, and is making a fool of himself in the process.
Carlson called him out, and said he didn't believe him.
Cruz did say he made a mistake, but tried to re-spin it claiming he meant people that assaulted cop were terrorists.
Carlson called him on that to, saying fighting with the cops didn't take'em terrorists.

Teddy is just another politician saying what they think will please enough voters to keep them in office. Teddy ain't too bright it seems. He does dumb stuff like going south on a "vacation" while the rest of Texas is freezing it's collective butt off and makes dumb pronouncements like this and thinks it won't make waves. Time to throw him in the trash can. He is just another making a career of staying in Washington and getting rich while not delivering anything. I grew up in Texas  and it was full of snakes in the guise of politicians such as LBJ, the sorriest example of humanity ever produced in the state, then. Nothing has changed except for the numbers of them which has increased. Lots more toes in the door attempting to feed off the public.

Edited to add: My apologies to snakes everywhere for using them as a comparison to politicians. Snakes just do what Mother Nature designed them to do, keep vermin under control. Politicians are vermin that need to be controlled. I would give credit to the one's that actually attempt to do their job but I simple can't find any.

That's about the size of it. They're gonna solve the worlds problems until they get into office.
Then they start eatin lunch with the veteran politicians, hangin with'em week after week, and living the good life.
Folks are doing stuff for'em, treatin'em better than they've ever been treated (lobbyists).
Now the goal is "what do I need to do to stay here"?

Lobbyists are a scourge, and they to, are corrupt.

I once had Ted on top of my list of, "If not Trump, then who?" I Guess that DeSantis takes his place, at least for now...

Although, if they had a good chance..I could see Jim Jordan  or Kristy Noem, in high places.
