Which is to weaken America so Communist China can complete the takeover of our nation.  The people now in charge welcomed the riots by BLM, and Antifa. they are letting in thousands of illegals across our borders. Who will pay to house and feed them all, along with many of them being criminals.  They are introducing CRT which teaches hatred, and victimhood for blacks and criminals.  Many cities controlled by radical leftists have attempted to defund police forces, which they know full well will increase crime. The funny thing is that the Dems think the same about Reps. I know this for certain sure since most of my family are Dems, even though I've been a registered Republican since 1966 when I first was able to vote. My younger son thinks I'm far right and that the Portland council and mayor are ultra conservative. That, of course, doesn't match the national news reports. It all seems to depend on where you are standing.

However, we retained that which has proven to work well over thousands of years.

    On the other hand, the left seems willing to discard those things that work, and replace it with new , possibly

Perhaps, but we are a divided family politically. The wife is a Dem and me a Rep her parents were the same. It's the world we live in. My parents were Republican, but my brother and sister both were Dems. Part of it is if you teach your kids how to think not what to think, they will think and figure things out based on what they see around them. Actually it's called the Scientific Method.

Both my parents are/were dummycrats. I am raising my children to think for themselves and time will tell how that turns out. Problem is  many who pose as conservative are not and take bribes, have dirt on them which changes their position on what is right. Bad time we are in.

I have seen staunch conservatives come from liberal parents, and the opposite. I am a Registered Republican from Southern Democrat Parents. Political parties change. The Democrats of the 40, and 50's are in some ways the Republicans of today. One thing that never changes is the truth. We should always seek the truth. Most Politicians are some of the most corrupt, self centered criminals among us, and we gave them the power. they wield. Partially because we chose a party over the truth.

You are, of course, right. Socialism has never worked out well over the long haul; mostly because of our fallen nature. The Christians tried it right after Christ's death (see Acts 2:45-47). Human greed and self centeredness seem to decree it's failure and we all are greedy and self centered. It comes from creations fall caused by humans in the garden. Only Jesus can change us IF we will let Him.
