I inherited a Kawasaki ATV.
« on: January 10, 2022, 03:27:59 PM »
It was running when they parked it 8 years ago. And covered it with a tarp. I know I’m going to have to clean the fuel tank and the carburetor and it needs a new battery. But hey its free. Tires may have dry rot. Might be to expensive to mess with.  It’s a 4x4, its little bit rat bit also.

I turned it over, at least the engine isn’t locked up.

Hopefully you drained everything and cleaned out
the carburetor bowl beforehand and didn't try to
turn it over with trash in it

That's good.
I have a friend that buys used
outboards, mowers, chainsaws,
etc.,  and almost always
gets the carburetor plugged
up solid from trying to start
them with a carb and tank
full of old rotten gasoline,
then it's a struggle to get
the tiny passages cleaned
out so whatever will run
properly.

glad it worked out for you. You have a unique ride that very few have even seen let alone drove.
