I actually like it. never cared much for the look of the vipers and its even an improvement on the big but of the c6 vette which by the way imo is the best looking modern vette. Had a 2007 z06 and it might not have been as fast as the new supercharged z's but that thing was FAST. it would eat my 392 challenger for lunch and would run with a standard body hellcat. Ive seen them pull mid 11s with someone who car row them. The new ones are quicker but that extra power is about wasted with a stick. The c7 z's with autos are bmfs. Everyone talks about the redeyes and super stock dodges but the c7 z is usually quicker. But my c6 had 500 hp and had no granny controls like stability or traction control and was a raw fast car. Last corvette that you mind controled without a computer second guessing you. If you woud have told me thered be 11 second cars for sale at all three major car brands right on the showroom floor back in my early muscle car days i would have laughed in your face. The mighty 70s top line muscle cars struggled stock to get into the 12s. Most of them like 396 chevelles and 389 gtos and mach 1 mustangs were 15 second (maybe a few high 14s) cars that a toyota corolla or a dodge ram or silverado today would give a gun run in the quarter. 11s just didnt happen with a streetable car. those were track cars then. Now we have a few that even chace the 10s and that was pro stock territory back then. You trailered those cars and brought extra motors with you. Now you can drive to the track with the ac on bolt on a set of drag radials and if your lazy even leave them on and drive home. i laugh when i hear talk of the golden age of muscle cars. Were living in the golden age of muscle cars right now today.
