      One thing that video shows (IMO), is the expansionist path that Russia has now embarked upon.  Should we not question why Russia is meddling around in the Syria/Israel dispute!
 
     What it further indicates that it is possible that Russia has taken the lead in forming the end times anti-God alliance as outlined in (Ezekiel 38).  Russia is now aligned with Syria, Turkey and Iran among others.

    Sensing the weakness in Washington,  Russia is beginning to sit's expansionist moves as is China.  The Russian Navy planned "war games" off the Irish coast..until Irish fishermen confronted them.. Plus they have been pestering the coastlines of the UK.

I understand Christian Russia is the rapture ready Evangelist's designated enemy, but Russia has claimed Assad invited them to Syria to,  Ezekiel didn't explain if it were to be Russia or Syria, who made the overtures for the unholy alliance.
     1) protect Christians and arabs from Obama's and Israel's ISIS mercs attacks, Of course, we can all hold different views, but it seems the hostilities almost invariably start from the Arab countries surrounding Israel.
  2) stop Israeli air attacks, Perhaps if the Syrians would halt their rocket attacks..Israeli air attacks would not take place.
    3) halt Israeli annexation of Syrian territory,   It seems the only changes in the map of Israel since her rebirth, are lands the Arab neighbors threw away, due to THEIR expansionist war efforts.
 
   4) liberate Syrian oil fields from American seizure, I don't recall any American military going into Syria to seize oil fields, and I don't think the US flag flies over them.  Aren't  they operated by international oil companies, such as Exxon and BP ?

   5) demonstrate that the world is no longer a hegemonic neocon-neolib playground.While demonstrating that Russia and the CCP in China, will now assert their hegemony....  Which will serve US citizens better?/color]

Well, Russian Christians don't follow dispensational millenimism or pre-rapture eschatology.  that's fine, to each his own
   That belief is new and created by Zionist Christians around 1900, by Darby and Scofield for example. In the last 30 or 40 years the pre-trib rapture has caught on with the zionist Christians, mainly Evangelicals. However, this liturgy is not borne out by Scripture, and for most of the last 2000 years no Christians have followed this dogma. There is just one Rapture, which is when Jesus returns.Whew..lot's of opinion there, and being as you say, a "rapture ready" Christian, I can see that they are mostly wrong.  No hostility toward Russian Christians, only wish them the best. I deal with many evangelical churches, and I have never heard the word "zionism" uttered, not even in sermons.  Of course, I disagree with your opinion of the historicity of evangelical Christianity, but you are welcome to your view, even if only a small cadre of scholars agree with it !

It so happens that this new religion elevates Israel to new heights, even replacing Jesus with Israel adoration. Haggee is an example, one of many. As titular head of the Christian zionist, he and the Evangelical churches have removed Jesus from the cross and replaced with a star of David; saying Jesus can not return until greater Israel and Jerusalem are established by jews. This is false occult prophesy and incredibly dangerous politics.  No great number of Christians watch Hagee with regularity.  There was a time when I watched a couple of his sermons..but found him off base...Just because some democrats drive Chevys, don't conclude that they all do.

  And that thing about Christians removing Jesus from the cross, and replacinh the cross with the star of David...that is far more off base than Hagee is.. I deal with Christian churches nearly everyday,and have never seen the cross replaced with ANYTHING !


This all came about because the Evangelical Christian movement in America latched on to a 19th Century concept that was hatched by someone called John Nelson Darby and con-man Scofield, who said that Jesus could not come back until Israel had been restored as a nation, peopled by Jews, with Jerusalem as the capital. This is not traditional Christian teaching, going back into the ages, even of the Protestant Church. This was not a concern of Martin Luther, or any Roman Catholic, or the Greek Orthodox, or the Russian Orthodox Church, or anyone else......just a concern of the Christian zionists. I'm sure you're old enough to remember before the term 'judeo-Christian' became common lexicon around  30 or 40 years ago to replace the term Christian.

Really as far as we should be concerned, the New Testament should come first, then the OT which explains how we got there.
  The Old testament is right where it belongs, after all ..it is there to introduce the New Covenant.  It is there to tell the Hebrews, Jews or anyone else, that they CANNOT keep the law.  Trying to do it in their own power is fruitless, so God provided another way ..and we went to the OT doctrine of "Law" to the New Testament doctrine of "Grace".  So far a I am concerned "Judeo~Christian" is used only to describe our shared values..  For instance, the same God..of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob..  WE hold some respect for the Jews, in that they are deep within our spiritual heritage.. much like a man may hold respect for his great grandfather..or a Baseball fan may have respect for Abner Doubleday or Ty Cobb..
