Hit another milestone today

Wife and I said our wedding vows on this day 63 years ago which was Friday the 13th. So much for superstition. It's been a good 63 years.

I'm 84 and counting. I'm entitled to be grouchy. I forget things or so my wife tells me, can't spell worth a damn anymore, have about given up doing arithmetic in my head, and just concentrate on the easy stuff like annoying people on forums.

Sad milestones. You guys were lucky, my fiancé passed away right before we were to marry. 10 years a bachelor i only focused on work. But im ok, and got hooked up with a fine lady I’ve known  since high school. And she lives right around the block from me. She’s been a bachelorette for about the same time. Engaged for two years now. Marriage coming up very soon now.

So, does since high school years count ? She has her house i have mine. We just sorta migrate back and forth. During her 10 years she was in a very abusive relationship, which she finally got rid of. I know your thinking about living in sin. But about at our years we don’t think about sex. Just the companionship, and praying together and helping each other.

     I still treasure her and memories of her, just as sure as you treasure yours today..

This September will mark 57 for us. I was 20 and Faye 19 when we got married.

I believe IG is a little older than I am. Cut him some slack. If you live long enough you will get forgetful too or make mistakes and not catch them. I go over everything I write and still miss stuff.

It wasn’t a put down on IG, just a friendly reminder. In case he wanted to go back and change it. And i am no spring chicken myself going on 70,and i make mistakes also and get politely corrected. And i think to myself. Ahh yes that’s it i just had a senior moment. So no harm done or intended. And I didn’t name names in the OP.

Repercussions like this over a simple four number three word sentence not aimed at anyone. I did not quote anyone up until this. So you make a big deal out of this. When i have seen much worse on this site.  And no one said anything about it. OK you win, there i fixed it you happy now!

It looks ok to me. Even if we make mistakes we read right over them. I only changed a year no names mentioned.
