Grandson created this knife and presented it to the Pink Ribbon Riders. They can auction it, raffle it or whatever. I don't know them, but assume they are bikers contributing to the fight against breast cancer.
That is not some sort of trigger guard, but I assume it is something he used to prop up the knife..
