A 12 minute video, teaching much about canned food, starting with corned beef. Well worth learning and storing away in the memory bank.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FriV9FPByw
I like corned beef, spam, deviled ham, potted meat, and when I spent a year in Oregon I ate a lot of canned beef tongue.
Cooked some prime sirloin steaks over Lilac coals; only had white rice with it but with a little seasoned salt all that was needed.
Beef tongue, how gross... I like mine fried.

If you just fried a beef tongue it would be like chewing on a piece of innertube. It is excellent when cooked correctly and obviously he knew what he was doing. Tongue is my favorite taco meat and also for other Mexican dishes.
Had some leftover beef/mushroom gravy over rice and a portion of mixed vegetables with a hunk of skillet bread for a scooper Sure would like to make up a pan of cornbread, but I sure wouldn't want to touch the knobon the oven with it this humid
