I've never "masked up", but I do use hand sanitizer when I get back into my car. The key is to keep your hands out of your eyes, nose, and mouth.

Continue to do whatever you believe will keep you safe.

This is the hood around here, and people
generally don't practice any kind of

cologne. And it's really not much
different elsewhere. I've worked in
the rich part of town where people
didn't wash after handling their
privates in the restroom, or digging
in their nostril. They use a grocery
cart ahead of you, or grip a door
handle,  you're handling whatever
the other 137 people ahead of you
handled

I know we have enjoyed not having any colds these last two years. We live in a "pass thru" area and most here wear masks when they are in the store. I sure do and not ashamed of it; certainly don't want what those Portland folks leave behind as they go skiing on Mt. Hood.

I guess to each his own, but science has shown that mask wearing is more detrimental to ones health than if you don't wear a mask.  I suppose the mask science changes, as it has when people are scared, or when their government orders them to wear a mask.  I really have doubts that mask wearing contributes to you not having a cold for 4 years. Don't know what it is, but some people just don't get colds period.  My wife who is handicapped from a brain injury is one of them. She has not gotten any exercise in the last 15 years, yet in the 44 years I have been married to her I don't recall her ever having a cold.  Me on the other hand gets at least one cold a year, and when I get it. It lasts for a good two weeks.

only time i wear a mask is when i go to the doctors where they insist. Had the 3 shots but really dont know the truth in whether they were worth having but dont believe the tin foil hat crap either about them being some kind of plot. Worse case senerio they were a waste of time. Ive never bought a bottle of hand sanitizer in my life and have never had it on my hands. I had the sniffles a few months ago. First time ive been even close to sick in AT LEAST 10 years actually probably closer to 20 as i retired in 2007 and know ive had exactly on cold  since then and it was fairly mild too. . It came and went in a few days and was just some sinus draining. ive allways been one that rarely got sick. Everyone in the family would have the flue and id have to take care of the baby (that was also sick) and id never catch it. Well rarely anyway. We didnt know what hand sanitizer was  back them. Closest thing was a bottle of whiskey and you sure didnt waste that on your hands. What i do do its walk work out and keep in shape. If your a spindly old 140lb soaking wet man maybe you should have spent your money on a set of weights years ago instead of masks and hand sanitizers. What i wont do now and never have done before is live in fear of germs or what i eat or drink and just like  Mule im here to talk about it. God already knows my end date and some hand sanitizer isnt changing that.

Our doctor's offices are in the hospital complex here. Small town, small health care system but a good one. So good in fact that people come from other towns to use it. You have to wear a mask to get in the door. When you make it into a doctor's office they have no problem with you shedding your mask. The doctors seem to be smarter than the administrator. Out primary care physician wears one into the room and then removes it. My wife's cardiologist doesn't bother to wear one at all. Despite our state dictator's orders my wife and I have foregone mask wearing for well over a year now. No vaccine, no colds, no flu, and no covid as we go about our business like we always have.
