Ezekiel was an OT prophet who was active about 590 BC.
Among his prophesies, in chapter 37..he used the illustration of the valley of dry bones, to illustrate
his vision of Israel being reborn in the latter days..
Mathew reaffirmed (Matt 24:32-35) by using the common prophetic term of the fig tree which represents Israel. He claimed that when Israel would be reborn in the latter days.
Israel was reborn in AD 1948. He said that before all who were alive in that day have passed, Israel would be attacked by a Satanically led coalition.
