Does Ukraine Stand Alone?
« on: February 25, 2022, 02:02:35 AM »
Ukraine isn't a member of NATO. Other than the United States pumping weaponry and cash into Ukraine they are on their on.

But then again, the Biden Regime is doing more for Ukraine than it is for the Texas and Arizona border. How bad does it have to get on Texas and Arizona borders, before the Biden Regime sends aid to us?

How bad does it have to get on the Texas, and Arizona borders before we get the concern, and news coverage Ukraine is getting.

The Biden Regime hasn't sent 10,000 troops to protect the borders around the Ukraine.

We have in Texas, a castrated Border Patrol,  the Texas National Guard, a few Sheriff Deputies, and some Texas State Troopers.

While everyone is focused with concern on Russia evading Ukraine, our own southern border is collapsing, with daily shootings, high speed chases ect. The southern border in Texas is the lawless wild west again. .

I suppose, when we have fighting in the streets in the more northern states, folks "might" wake up. But then it'll be too late.

Who knows how many ties Biden, and his crack head son had to Ukraine, . We were told that the DOJ was going to investigate those ties, but now its all just labeled Ukraine disinformation.

Better to be "in trouble" than dead.  They try that **** here and the Perp should be dead - if I can do anything about it.  I am MAD AS HELL and have no one to shoot...though it sounds like a TARGET RICH ENVIRONMENT in the Wild West of the U.S. / Mexican border.

Looking at the so called sanctions against Sloppy Joe hasn't and will not do anything jack to discourage Putin. The better part of the NATO allies are reliant on Russian energy and wont endorse anything that could cause Putin to close the valves on the natural gas it supplies to them.

Lots of posturing and nothing with teeth in it in the way of sanctions. The US and its allies have given the Ukranians some weapons and it looks like the Russian invasion is bogging down which Putin didn't anticipate. I am impressed with the Ukranian people and their defiance against overwhelming odds in their fight for survival. This isn't Crimea and these folks are fighting every step of the way. The Ukraine soldiers on Snake Island appear to be a good example of what Russia faces as it invades. https://www.newsmax.com/newsfront/ukrainian-soldiers-last-words-russia-warship/2022/02/25/id/1058520/

American troops on the border next to Ukraine are there to defend NATO allies(Article 5) and the US along with other allies are obligated to provide protection and respond accordingly. Putin is a sociopath with dreams of restoring the former USSR which he has lamented over for years when it broke up. The demonstrations in Moscow against the invasion of Ukraine are interesting in that it demonstrates just how much the Russian people are not in lockstep with their leader and that doesn't bode well for Putin especially when the body bags start coming back to Russia.

On the Texas border, Biden doesn't have a frickin clue what is going on and his policies are mandated by his handlers who have their own agenda. I figure Biden is lucky to be able to tie his own shoes with his dementia.Texas is definitely on its own when it comes to the border just as are other border states with Mexico. Frustrating? Absolutely!

In the meantime I am gaining a lot of respect for the Ukranian people and their resolve. Makes me wonder just how many US citizens too busy with their own convenient lives would have the courage to defend our country in the event of an armed invasion from a foreign country.

China’s Xi speaks to Putin; calls for ‘negotiation’ with Ukraine

‘China supports Russia and Ukraine to resolve the issue through negotiation,’ Chinese president says.

China’s President Xi Jinping said he supported solving the Ukraine crisis through talks in a call with Russian President Vladimir Putin after Moscow launched an invasion of its neighbour.

In a readout of the call on Friday on state broadcaster CCTV, Xi pointed out the “situation in eastern Ukraine has undergone rapid changes … [and] China supports Russia and Ukraine to resolve the issue through negotiation”.

Turkey says cannot stop Russian warships accessing Black Sea

Russian forces have launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, unleashing air strikes and sending troops deep into the country, after weeks of diplomatic efforts failed to deter Putin from launching the military operation.

Beijing has trod a cautious diplomatic line on the crisis and refused to call it an “invasion” or condemn the actions of Russia, its close ally.

Xi said on the call with Putin that it is important to “abandon the Cold War mentality, attach importance to and respect the reasonable security concerns of all countries, and form a balanced, effective and sustainable European security mechanism through negotiations”.

According to the Chinese media readout, Putin outlined the reasons for Russia launching the “special military operation”.

“The United States and NATO have long ignored Russia’s reasonable security concerns, repeatedly reneged on their commitments, and continued to advance military deployment eastward, challenging Russia’s strategic bottom line,” Putin told Xi, according to CCTV.

“Russia is willing to conduct high-level negotiations with Ukraine.”

Russian invasion of Ukraine, places of attack

While most nations in Asia rallied to support Ukraine, China has continued to denounce sanctions against Russia and blamed the United States and its allies for provoking Moscow.

Beijing, worried about US power in Asia, has increasingly aligned its foreign policy with Russia to challenge the West.

“China feels very strongly that the United States is trying to encircle and contain it. Russia feels the same way. The combined pressure on both of them has pushed them together,” Einar Tangen, an analyst at the Taihe Institute, told Al Jazeera.

As the Ukraine crisis has escalated, China has been forced to balance its close Russia ties with major economic interests in Europe.

And Moscow’s approach is in stark contrast to China’s long-standing stated foreign policy position of non-interference in other countries’ internal affairs.

Xi said China was “willing to work with all parties in the international community to advocate a common, comprehensive, cooperative and sustainable security concept, and firmly safeguard the international system with the United Nations at the core”, according to the CCTV readout.

The Kremlin said in its readout of Friday’s call that Xi underlined that he “views the Russian leadership’s action in the crisis situation with respect”.

In a reference to new Western sanctions against Russia over its invasion of Ukraine, the Kremlin noted Putin and Xi agreed “it’s inadmissible to use illegitimate sanctions for achieving selfish goals of certain countries”.

The furreners iz already here.
Have been for years.
A whole whole whole lot of rural land
and corporate farms and ranches in this
region are foreign owned.
Oklahoma has more than a few chinese
owned pot farms, and I know of a couple
east of town here owned by an african
immigrant. I have a goodly pile of
letters that I've been saving from real
estate investors trying to buy, and a
good many of those are from people
with middle eastern names. No way
to tell who might own the places with
the nondescript names.
I can say that if china called in even
half the markers they hold in the US,
we'd be way farther up sh** creek
than we are now.

I know I've beaten this dead horse
raw, but if the populace doesn't
turn off the television and computer
and put down their joints and their
beers and take notice of w t h. is
happening,  the crumbling that's
in progress at this time will be
irreversible, that is if it's not already.
