Ever watched "Lone Star Law"? Game Wardens will pickup run over terrapins and take ta vet for rehab. How much does it cost the state to rehabilitate a turtle?
There was a short piece on the "news " a while ago, and I heard them say that there were problems with some nuisance bears causing destruction at residences and they'd used DNA tests to try to pinpoint the offending bear(s)Do the ptb not kill nuisance animals anymore in other parts of the US? I can't imagine spending taxpayer dollars for DNA testing for an animal. If not killing it, trapping and relocating at the most. We've gotten too fuzzy cutesy with animals in 2022
Lloyd, back in 63 I ate a lot of bear ham and bacon, tasted just like a pig.
I have a news article here that says a federal judge put wolves back on the endangered list, and if a wolf threatens you, your dog, or your livestock, too bad.About the only way you can kill one is if you have bite and claw marks on you.
we have lots of wolves and bear. I walk a trail by the house with the dog and usually carry a gun. Im not a bit afraid of bear. Ive lived around them all my life and have never had a single one even with cubs make a move at me. But wolves worry me. I worry my dog might even think its a playmate and take off after it. Dont much give a rip what the dnr or anyone else says. One looks at me wrong its going down.
