Daylight savings time.
« on: March 09, 2022, 10:48:47 AM »
This Sunday March 13. Don't forget to turn up your clocks one hour unless they are atomic clocks. Which will do it automatically. What a pain in azz, among other things.
In this time i Command ,That you take the Secular to Jerusalem .
There you rid the Holy City of the Scourge of Islam , Make the streets run red with the Blood of those who wish to wash Israel and Christianity from the face of the Earth.

I'm ready for it and wish they would leave that way. By the way, not all atomic clocks reset themselves. I bought the cheapest one I could find for my garage and I have to set it. I thought they worked on a signal but not this one. I'll look at specs a little closer if I ever buy another.

Another year, another change. I'd personally prefer standard time year-round, but would settle for no more changes even if midnight was at high noon.

It's only a big deal if you make it one. I guess I'd rather keep daylight savings time year round but then I have no kids at the bus stop. I don't operate by the clock so time is nearly meaningless to me.

Guess I'd mostly agree except on Sunday or if I have a Dr. appointment. Then time does have meaning to me still.

I believe they all do,  otherwise they are not atomic clocks, but you have to set it to the right time zone do to the zigzag lines of time zones, like here in TN we have two time zones, Eastern and Central.

Airports put out a signal. I wonder if that’s where the atomic clocks get it.

smoke alarm and carbon monoxide
detector batteries
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .

I am going to turn my clocks back to 1965, go back to Jr. High School, take what I know now with me, and try again.

Trust me, this one doesn't. I don't know how it manages to keep the right time but I have to change it. Maybe it's a form of chinese revenge on the round eyes. Anyway when I get fed up enough to replace it it will be with one that will change on it's own. I have had one in my bedroom for years that is set for daylight saving time and the only thing I have to do it is an infrequent battery change. Speaking of chinese revenge I bought a clock with roman numerals on the face. They got all of the numerals right except two. I've learned to live with it and no one seems to notice but me.

I run on "me" time mostly. Get outta bed when I want, get back in the same way. An infrequent doctor's appointment for me, more frequent for the wife is about the only thing I have to pay attention to a clock for. Adjusting to a time change twice a year is little bother to me. The time of sunup and sundown plays a much bigger part for me.

Oh Lordy, if I could only do that, BUT, as in the science fiction movies where that happens, what was bad become horrible and that would by my result.

This seems to come up twice a year or so. Let’s just pick one or the other, and be done with it.
