I'm ready for it and wish they would leave that way. By the way, not all atomic clocks reset themselves. I bought the cheapest one I could find for my garage and I have to set it. I thought they worked on a signal but not this one. I'll look at specs a little closer if I ever buy another.
I believe they all do, otherwise they are not atomic clocks, but you have to set it to the right time zone do to the zigzag lines of time zones, like here in TN we have two time zones, Eastern and Central.
Trust me, this one doesn't. I don't know how it manages to keep the right time but I have to change it. Maybe it's a form of chinese revenge on the round eyes. Anyway when I get fed up enough to replace it it will be with one that will change on it's own. I have had one in my bedroom for years that is set for daylight saving time and the only thing I have to do it is an infrequent battery change. Speaking of chinese revenge I bought a clock with roman numerals on the face. They got all of the numerals right except two. I've learned to live with it and no one seems to notice but me.
I run on "me" time mostly. Get outta bed when I want, get back in the same way. An infrequent doctor's appointment for me, more frequent for the wife is about the only thing I have to pay attention to a clock for. Adjusting to a time change twice a year is little bother to me. The time of sunup and sundown plays a much bigger part for me.
