America is fixated, fascinated, angered, and appalled at what is going on in the Ukraine, while they ignore what is going on in their own country.
They whine about high gas prices, groceries going through the roof, but seldom give any acknowledgement of the crime, and suffering on their own border.
It doesn't affect them. Yet!
America is good, and just. Russia is cruel, and bad. Russia picks on smaller, weaker countries. Russia commits "atrocities".
But the United States military did invade South Vietnam, and kill innocent men women, and children. Destroy cities, burn villages, while justifying all of it. Not to mention getting 52,000 American soldiers killed.
How many Vietnamese did they kill between November1st 1955, and 1975?
How many civilians got killed in Panama when we decided we didn't like the way Manual Noriega was doing things. We trained Noriega at "The School of the Americas" in Ft Benning Ga.
How many cities did the United States military destroy when we decided we didn't like Sadam Hussein (whom by the way was trained by us at "The School of the Americas" Ft Benning Ga) anymore. How many Iraqi innocents did we kill.
Or our other 20 year war in Afghanistan. How many Afghans were killed. Our actual mission was accomplished in a little over a year.
Of course we really shouldn't leave out the Korean war where killed innocent men, women, and children, fighting a country much smaller than our own.
And like every other war since WWII, America got her ass handed to her by little third rate peon countries.
My point? The United States military, by direction of our government, has been doing the same thing Russia is doing now, since 1952, and everybody in the country, and here is upset about it.
RUSSIAN ATROCITIES INDEED. AND FULLA CRAP, NEAR SIGHTED, SHORT TERM MEMORY LIMITED AMERICANS.
These so-called "patriots" made up of former United States military special-ops are recognized as "mercenaries" to the rest of the world, and if captured by the other side, will be dealt with accordingly.
