Jackson confirmation
« on: April 07, 2022, 01:17:30 PM »
Well we now have our first radical Marxist on the SC bench, thanks to all the Democrats and a few republicans including the POS Romney, who floats with whatever way he thinks the wind is blowing.  They got a yea vote from Manchin too, who I have been saying ain't no different than the rest of the democrats.  I hope the people in WV see what he is and get rid of him.

I got this second hand so I can't verify it but when one of his state's politicians was asked about Romney his reply was "He is a well oiled weather vane".

Our new judge is like our VP, she is dark complected and a woman and neither are qualified for the job they now hold. They fill a nitch to please the liberal left.

Manchin talks a good game until it comes time for him to put up or shut up. Then he closes his mouth and votes like the democrat he really is. For the life of me I can't understand why people keep voting for these two frauds.

Obama was "a novelty president". Never had one one, let's get one. Never mind that hes never had a job.

Kamala Harris is "a novelty vice-president". Never had one, let's get one. Never mind that he has a documented history of being an idiot.

Jackson is "a novelty jurorist". Never had a black woman on the Supreme Court. Lets get one. Never mind shes a left wing nut case that is documented in not following the rule of law on sentencing guidelines.

How did we get here? We voted our way here. Hey! I've seen him on TV for years. Never mind he never fulfilled any of his campaign promises.

And to those here and nationwide who occasionally laude Joe Manchin as the Democrat that could be a republican.

Joe Manchin is a Democrat. His home state elected him knowing that.  He won't change, because he can't change. And neither will his voter base.

He was West Virginia governor for 5 years, and has been their senior Senator for 12 years. The voters of West Virginia know who Joe Manchin is.

No not really,  but I guess there is whats called wishful thinking.  Then if you look at it with just a bit of common sense. One would say no way she will get confirmed, but with politicians common sense is tossed out the window.  Jackson is just another nail driven into this countries coffin.

I don't have any confidence in a person
that waffles when asked to define a woman.
That alone should have been enough to
disqualify her

I have no idea of the lubrication. I think the intent was that Romney swings very easily in the political winds. Personally I think he is the same as John McCain was. A RINO that takes great pleasure in throwing monkey wrenches in republican efforts every chance he gets or does it just for spite.

It once was 60 votes to confirm a justice.  Harry Reid changed that several years ago to majority vote due to Dem's not having 60 votes.

Romney talks about his Mormon faith when its convenient. I guess those of the Mormon faith are accepting of pedophiles getting light sentences.  How does a Mormon with five sons and 24 grangkids accept a judge who is partial to those of child pornography?

He is partial to whatever he thinks will keep him in office, morals or ethics be damned. So far he is batting a thousand in his thinking. It also doesn't say anything good about those of the mormon faith that keep electing him either. Spouting about your "faith", which ever one it is, amounts to nothing except for those dumb enough not to understand that is your actions that tell the true story.

Yeah, just like the devout Catholics Biden and Pelosi.
