Maudy Thursday
« on: April 14, 2022, 02:56:11 PM »
Just came out of a Lutheran service in my home town; the pastor made special note of this is one the exceptionally few time Passover and coincides with Easter.

He, that this is a message from God and we should get of of our bottens (he said he would use a different word but he is in church) and take very seriously what Easter represents from God to man.
He went through the whole story of Abraham and Issac to show that is is a serious gift and Christians should treat it as such.
Godspeed to my Christian friends, and you outliers.

I reckon that's a good message, but we should hold ourselves ready for JESUS's return at any moment.
If we let our guard down, old scratch will ease right in.

Good message...God used the example of Abraham and isaac, to illustrate how he would eventually free all from sin by sacrifice Himself in the  form of Jesus, to save "whosoever will"  (Rom 10:13) from damnation..
