Boy, I've been out of circulation. . .

At the range today, I was digging
through the trash cans looking for
treasures ( I found some nice
pasters somebody tossed not
knowing what they were apparently)
but didn't find much of anything.

I did find around 15-20 of these
discarded boxes.
Man, ball ammo used to be not
quite 4 bucks/20 for Fed,Win,etc.

Kind of scary, isn't it? And around here, bullets are easy to find but not powder or primers so unless you have stockpiled supplies even that is closed.

FWIW,  I checked with the local chain
store and got their prices.
Approximately half of what the
price tag was on those boxes.

Bad part about panic buying, lot of
folks get bent over really bad.
I'm glad I didn't need to buy any
expensive ammunition

Yes, I stocked up after the last couple of "panics," I have picked up some bullets on the internet, but only .22RFs and .17RFs. .22RFs just so my stock doesn't go down as I shoot them and .17RFs when I bought one and had no ammo for it.

The day that osama obama announced his candidacy I started buying (hoarding) 22lr ammo.
Sadly it was all lost in the boating accident.

A good many of us have had
similar unfortunate accidents.
I occasionally walk the shoreline
and find a small quantity washed
ashore
