The leftist plan to pay off college debt...

  The Obama, Biden, Pelosi plan to pay off college debts..is primarily WELFARE FOR THE RICH !

   Stats... 40% of students emerging from schools in low income areas go to college... 70% of students from more affluent schools attend college...and in the very affluent area schools, nearly 100% attend college.

  Most who attend the very costly "Ivy League" schools are from wealthy families, so taxpayers would be paying off the much larger bills incurred by the rich!

  ...Used to be, a student could work part time during school and full time inthe off season, and pay his own tuition.

  Then the government stuck their noises in..loaning money for tuition..and naturally, the tuitions increased exponentially !

What do you suppose will happen to tuition costs once the government starts using our tax money to pay them off?

we have 30k of debt for the wifes son. So id be one that should be begging for it. But i pay my own way. Always have and always will and told the wife we pay off that loan even if they forgive it. I will not have you or some other tax payer paying my way!!

  A coupleof my grandson's each had college debts...they worked and paid them off !  Why should they work for many more years, paying off the debt of some dud who makes stupid choices?

  Why should another young person who could not afford the high college tuiitions, so he went to work and is doing OK...pay off his high school classmates' foolish debts?

I borrowed to attend a State University I could afford for a degree I built a career around.  Each Certificate of Loan of mine is stamped PAID IN FULL. 

I had often thought of framing and hanging those 11" x 14" legal docs on the wall alongside my DD214.  I may still, for the amusement value watching jaws drop.  The equation of "credit" remains simple:

You borrowed it.  You pay it back.
