My grandpa's shotgun drew blood again today.

It's a H&R single barrel 410 that I don't know how old it is. I know he had it when I was a little kid so it's getting somewhere around 80 years old. He kept laying hens all his life and this was his skunk gun and I wound up with it after he died. Grandpa took good care of things and I do too so it looks just about new. It's my gopher gun (no chickens for me) and when the wife told me there was a gopher up cleaning out his burrow I grabbed it to sneak out and eliminate the little pest. As I loaded it I managed to pinch myself. I'm surprised a person can bleed that much out of a little bitty hole in their hand but I had to get a bandaid to stop the blood. Of course by the time I got out the door the gopher had quit and disappeared. Maybe later this afternoon or tomorrow we can meet.

My grandpa's possessions especially
his few guns were most likely looted
by my vultures, I mean relatives.
I remember he had a 410 intended for
me, but it probably landed in a pawn
shop somewhere for a twenty or so

I had to work 2 weeks for my uncle to get my Granfathers sxs that was meant to go to me and it was worth every minute and then some as it is priceless to me. Probably worth $400.

I had to whoop my cousin over my Grandpa's old Marlin .22. Thought I'd walk right through that scrawny little hillbilly. I thought wrong, but left with the gun and still have it.

I would have rather fought one of my hillbilly cousins then had to of worked for my red neck uncle AGAIN... Your Grandfather would have been proud...

So far this week in my live trap. Large old raccoon that looked like a rug with a head, my neighbors porch pisser, and a possum this morn that wore the fur off over its eyes trying to find a way out. If the whistle pig doesn’t go in before long there is always plan b.

I've a coon, or coonS, getting into my sweet feed and corn every night. Today I put it all in a taller barrel and put a cinder block on the tin substitute for a lid.

If that doesn't work, my live trap comes out with my helper John Browning.

Sweet! All I've managed to get are some Savage 24s one in .223/20 and one in 357/20 plus a Stevens 22/410. You get what you can afford and.can find.

  Agreed!  I have less into that drilling than two of your 24's cost.
