Sheriff Jack Harwell picked up the
phone and called David Koresh
when he was in a firefight with
George Roden at the same place
the FBI burned down around their
ears. Koresh walked out and
surrendered to the sheriff without
so much as a harsh word. The
court found Koresh was innocent
of wrongdoing in the matter and
returned the Mini 14 Koresh had
surrendered to the sheriff.
Koresh also habitually traveled to
Waco unarmed to visit the musical
instrument stores, and occasionally
partake at a couple of different restaurants.
The way I understand it, the official
story is that the agents were raiding
Mt Carmel and the ptb sent along a
camera crew to video the raid in
"COPS" docudrama style, and the
the video crew blew the cover when
they asked Koresh's neighbor for
directions after getting lost. With the
element of surprise out the window,
the supervisory people decided to
hey diddle diddle right up the middle
and push ahead with the raid .
