How about we instead make our representatives to adhere to the constitutional oath they swear too before taking office?

Here in NY, the half-wit governor is proposing more draconian laws against gun owning citizens, such as
an added tax on each round of ammo.
However,  We knew this kind of a government was eventually coming..  Maranatha !

I don't mind being old, but I wish I got around better. I despise anti Constitution politicians, and always vote against'em, but I made my mind up many years ago about the 2nd Amendment.
They can vote in anything they want to, I can't stop'em. The problem is getting me to comply.

Want evidence that our new governor...coronated by the NY City Demonrats is not a clear thinker?

Whenever they place new and outrageous taxes on any commodity, the reservations cash in on the politician's stupidity.

I of course, I don't smoke or drink alky, but if I did..I would drive about 20-25 miles down to the Reservation and buy my smokes & drinks in quantity.  There the Seneca Nation has a tobacco processing factory that covers several acres..right on Rt 417...and I say, "more power to them"!  They make all kinds of tobacco products, and stores in town also sell booze, since the tax is apparently a large part of that price.
They make their own brands of cigs..some named after Seneca clans, such as the Heron..
Still, the state it seems, is continually giving the Indians a hard time, apparently out of spite. Smokers tell me the reservation's best is equal to the best sold elsewhere.
National btrand cigs are sold there too, but most seem happy with the Seneca rolled brands.

Interstate #86 runs through the Res, and every few years it seems that if the state gets too abusive,
interstate Rt #86  gets blocked with burning tires etc.  Still it seems that often when a greedy
governor takes office...he/she starts jacking their jaws about cigarettes and casinos, just trying to break more treaties which they made..

Oops!  I forgot my main point..  If the state gets to taxing ammunition too much, no doubtthe reservations will start selling the stuff.
I was down that way this morning, and my gas tank was nearly dry..last off-res gas station was at $4.79 per gal.  so i drove 5 more miles to the res..and bought at $4.39...

I have not had a cigarette in decades. Just goes to show what advertising will do as that package makes me want one. If I find out I’m on the way out I’m gonna get me some cigs and a bag of weed :) and if I can a 32oz bottle of morphine like my grandfather had from hospice...

I had a freiend who died about 4 years ago, who had quit a life-long smoking habit, he picked up at about 14.
When he decided to quit, crazy as it sounds..he said what he missed most, was pulling that thin, red  celophane band... to open a pack of cigarettes..  Then holding the pack in his right hand..popping it against his left index finger, until the cigarettes began to emerge.

Strange what moves we humans at times...

I was about 13 when I started smokin. Then one morning at about 5:30, I took a brand new carton of Marlboro 100s off the top of the refrigerator, cut the bottom of it out with my pocket knife, went to the sink and filled it with water, and threw it in the trash. That was about 42 years ago.

Don't miss'em, and wish I'd never smoked.  ;)

I quit 3-27-91 (first heart attack) and if I knew it wouldn’t hurt me, I could smoke one that stretched from here to Niagara Falls. :)

Speaking of gun control, I finally unsubscribed from the NRA email yesterday.
