Les, some people like to put a Bowen rear sight on.  I don't think it shoots any better with one, but they do look better than the stock ruger.  Other than that, give Ken Kelly a call at Mag-na-port.  He can do most anything you want.  He ported mine, jeweled the hammer/trigger, did an action job, and put on a steel ejector rod housing.  He then did a polish and blue job on it that is so deep, you could comb your hair in it (if I had any hair!).  Any, give Ken a call, he can make your favorite gun into a real keeper!  44 Man

:D Les, I have to agree with you on the 4 5/8inch SBH being a favorite.  I've had mine since the mid 80's and couldn't ask for a better packing/shooting handgun after Larry @ MagNaPort got through with it.  Mine started life as a 7 1/2inch model and now wears Ivory Micarta grips.  One of these days I'm going to be sending Larry my 10inch model for there Stalker conversion.

I really like that, especially front sight. Seems like alot of money at first, but when you consider having a companion for life, it aint so bad :D
