Why I am neither a Repugnican nor a Demonrat today..
« on: June 12, 2022, 03:49:43 AM »
I am heeding the advice of the "father of our country"..and what he warned us about in his farewell address.
  Here is his quote;

"However [political parties] may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion."

I would suggest that the majority of us are not Republicans, or Democrats, but rather conservatives, or stupid--uhh liberals.  As a matter of fact, I don't even know if there is such a thing as a "card carrying Republican, or Dummycratic.

What I do know is that no one in their right mind would ally themselves with the Democrats and believe they are anything but a stinking communist.  There are far too many who would call themselves Republicans, but are in fact not really up for the struggle.  That's okay as long as they put their X in the Republican box.  Any other vote would just be a wasted gesture, or at a minimum a half hearted vote for a commie.

How ever one votes, no one should fool themselves thinking that their vote will actually be counted.  Remember what Joe repeated over and over--"It's not how they vote, it's who counts the votes."

I have always been an independent but used to be registered as a democrat to be able to vote in the primaries back when about all we had for candidates were democrats so I voted for what I considered to be the least evil. Several years back I could no longer stomach voting for anyone in my state that identified as one so I switched to being a republican. I am not too proud of those either but if you aren't one or the other it's no vote for you. I will have to say our current crop of state legislators from this district are pretty much on the same page as I am except for one and she is a go along to get along type but she is not in my voting district. The others have no hesitation in stating just how worthless our state government is. It makes no difference since democrats are firmly in control of the state and have no interest in anything that isn't liberal.

We got to see how that "it's who is doing the counting" in 2018 when the second congressional district was stolen at the last minute by write in ballots for the democrat. There was evidence but since the secretary of state and the attorney general were both democrats and known to to be crooked absolutely nothing was done. She lasted one term and was overwhelming defeated in the last election.

We have a few Republicans running for office that are Conservatives and many running that are Globalists. We have Democrats running that are Liberal and many that are Socialists (aka Communists.) It would appear the Globalists and Communists are taking over. We need more Libertarians running in both parties.  MEN  (Yes I said Men) like Ron and Rand Paul, and Barry Goldwater type republicans. We had them at one time, and things were better because of it. Libertarians running against the two major parties are only hurting the country. They need to infiltrate both major parties.

If we continue to let the Globalists (Like the Bushes) and Communists like Nancy P. and Chuck Schumer run things, we are doomed as a Republic. We need Good, Real MEN to once again assume the roll as the head of the family, and leaders of our Nation. Not men like Dr. Rachel Levine, who pretends to be a Woman. Someone who should be in a mental institution. Not in a position of authority in our Federal Government.

Kinda off topic, I voted for the first time in 1964, age 21, for, Barry Goldwater. :)

Barry Goldwater ran as a Republican. Ron and Rand Paul ran as Republicans. Back in the 80's Larry Mcdonald one of the most conservative politicians on the planet ran for the US House as a Democrat from Ga, and won. These were Libertarians that knew running as one they would have no chance of being elected.  He was such a thorn in the side of both parties, some of us think he was killed because they feared him. McDonald became the President of the John Birch Society. One of the most conservative organizations ever founded. (They still are) though you never hear their name mentioned on mainstream media. Even our beloved Fox.

guess i look at it like this. There are only two real partys today. The democrats and the republicans. If im not counted as a republican i help the democrats. Any vote for a independent in the middle hurts the republicans who need all the support they can get. Especially now. Sure they may be times i dont agree or a politician but i guess i feel like if i dont support the party it just feeds the opposition making them think that im not firm in my beliefs. To me there is only one choice today. Count me as a republican. Always have been always will be. Another thing i can see is with all the trouble the democrats have today it would be them forming in the middle to scam voters into believing there going to change and just like joe promising bipartisanship last election will use the lie to get in power and go right back to there bs.

This is why Libertarian party candidates and those in the Constitution party need to run as Republicans or Democrats. Look! In a district that has a majority Democrat voting base, the only way to beat them at their own game is to run as one. Larry Mcdonald did this in Ga, and when he went to DC, he voted against leftist ideals.Look at Rand Paul....He isn't a mainstream (Globalist) Republican. He is basically a libertarian conservative. If we had more like him in the Republican party and more like Joe Manchin in the Democrat party we could see some real changes for the good of all us.JMHO as a Constitutionalist Republican. "As an example" If we had a general election today that had Joe Manchin (Democrat) running against Mitch Mcconnell (Republican) Who would you vote for?

as much as i dont like McConnel id have to vote for him. ANY republican in the white house is better then ANY democrat. Especially if we can get control of the house and senate. Everyone was bs'd into thinking biden was bipartisan and some people not so excited about trump that were republicans probably bought the bs. I dont trust anything ANY democrat says ever again.

And as in the words of a Leftist Cher Bono....."The Beat goes on"
I don't think many were fooled by Biden. The problem is until we vote for a person, and not a party, nothing will change. And that ain't likely in the near future. JMO!

I consider myself a Constitutionalist because I am strongly Pro-life.

Independents platform allows women to butcher their babies in the womb without interference from them.

Which to me doesn't make sense, murder is illegal.

But I vote republican.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong,
but I was under the impression that
when the libertarians were first put
together that their policy was that
anything an individual wants to do
as a free citizen is ok and should be
allowed and encouraged

That's how they look at it.
Since the constitution guarantees the right to "LIFE", the independents platform goes against the constitution.
So I'll remain a Constitutionalist and vote republican.

And some are O.K. With taking fetal cell jabs into their bodies as long as it allows them to go unmasked to the local grocer... Then sing koombya.
I don't know who you're talking about, but I'll say that Nancy and I took the jab for the simple reason that we enjoy going on cruises.   Our next one is booked for December.
Cruise lines require it, so........

BTW, all fetal cell research etc. uses umbilical cord blood and has for years so don't try using the abortion thing against me. :)

Have no idea and don’t care because I’ve refused it. If I were to decide for any reason to take it “which I won’t” I’d seriously research what was in it...

One thing you really have to give the Dummycratics credit for; they are getting right down to the basics.  The commies--errr dummycrats have already got their sights on canceling the Second Amendment and now they are going after the First Amendment.  Who needs any of that anyway; the Dems will let us know what to say and when to say it and where it can be said.  Just ask Donald Trump.  You are only allowed to challenge an election if your name is Algore, or if you are a black woman from Georgia.

There are some who have really learned their lesson though.  Bill Barr is seen wearing his new jacket; it's called a turncoat.

Somebody pinch me.  I'm having a real bad nightmare.

People have been warning of
this day since way before I was
politically aware, and the majority
of the apathetic called them
chicken littles, and tinfoil hatters,
and other things.  They said
" You nutjobs are a bunch of
conspiracy crazies- communism
will NEVER EVER become
mainstream.  . . "

Well.  . . Here it is.  .

You guy’s are the ones obsessing. I try to be nice and let it lay. BTW. Do some research, much of the research involves aborted fetal cells.

As I said here long ago, sometimes it is down to the "lesser of two evils"..but some folks just couldn't understand that proposition, and I got all kinds of static for saying so.

Apparently they seem to think.."hold out for a superb conservative, and meanwhile, let the lefties take the office.

..And yes, while as a citizen, I am neither R or D, but if I were to run for office, I would have to be one or the other..or lose any chance at being elected.
