  I won't be getting it, since I am not a SciFi fan, but on the surface, it looks like one a SciFi guy may like.

  I checked with Amazon, just to see the reviews.  Many good reviews, but perhaps the first review (of 743) was the reason you were not impressed.

This movie had great special effects, but that is all. It was clear from the script that the Chinese money influenced the portrayal of the Americans: Americans--dumb, argumentative, arrogant; Chinese--wise, thoughtful, peaceful. It was sickening. The scenes were choppy and ill conceived. The science fiction story could have been great, but the direction and lines were terrible. My wife and I counted more than 200 "tells" that exposed leftist and Chinese propaganda that diminished Americans. Hollywood needs to get their heads out of Chinas ass

For me anyway, its only another Alien disaster movie.  SciFi can do better than this. It was about as bad as AD Astra.
Which sucked all the way through. Both are about the Moon. Moonfall, Alians. AD Astra, Moon Pirates lol.

Just checked, I'm now number 12 of 29 . I know you didn't like it, but if I don't, I can change to another movie and turn it in. There are others I've done that with before.
