Aviator sun glasses.
« on: July 03, 2022, 10:12:09 AM »
They are making a come back, even women and kids. NO! Not because Biden wears them, this was going on before he showed up according to Under Armor. Their sales of them are off the charts. Also, Under Armor sales have passed RayBan.  RayBan just isn't what it once was, bad quality, bad customer service, they were with me ,when the glasses
Fell apart in my shirt pocket, all I was doing was checking my oil, they were only a month old. The military likes Oakley. And Oakley knows it lol.

I have worn aviator sunglasses starting when I was in high school and am still wearing them. There were several years while I did the corrective lens thing that I didn't wear them but now that I no longer need anything but readers I have gone back to them. My choice back then was Ray-Bans and that is what I'm now wearing. I have had them for over two years without any problem.

You lucked out. I once would only wear them also until this recent disaster.  And try to get a warranty repair, or replacement from them. You will talk to someone you can’t understand.

In 1999, Bausch & Lomb sold Ray-Ban to the Italian eyewear company Luxottica. Today, Ray-Bans are made in both Italy and China. When Luxottica started manufacturing Ray-Bans in 1999, they were made in Italy. Throughout the years, Luxottica has grown exponentially and opened factories outside its native country.

Under Armor isn’t any better. And they are into a lot of things.

Haven't worn anything besides the
tinted safety glasses for a very long
time out of habit.
Safety glasses were required at the
places I've worked and I got too
used to having some on my face
all the time
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .

Still have a pair of 30+ year old Ray Ban Aviators and still wear them on occasion but just like Ranger99's employer the companies I worked for required safety glasses in the field and I have grown accustomed to them and wear them daily when outside working around the house and on the road.
